Still feeling the weight of those years as you are going through them is completely different then the weight of those years afterwards. We do have to wait and see and clearly those years have an impact, but to think they would cause Belle to love Rumpel more after how he treated her does not make sense to me at all.
It seemed like Granny aged normally. She said that 60 years ago when she was a child she saw her father killed and that seems about right.
But i don’t think that Belle feels the weight of those years. Everyone was in a haze for those years as far as we know and so it isn’t 28 years of memories in the same way. I think it would have been much more realistic for Belle to become bitter towards Rumpel for how he treated her especially if she has any knowledge of who locked her up and why instead of just being oh happy i love you. I am hoping that they just are waiting on her reaction and she will chew him out again like she did at the end of skin deep.
I also think Rapunzel and Jasmine were mentioned as ones they want to do.
