Knowing this show, the breadcrumbs are actual literal magical breadcrumbs that help Hook and Henry find something/someone.
You are probably right. They have done things like this before. It is certainly possible.
[adrotate group="5"]This is the problem with having a character like Hook and now fake Hook. They have no real connection to the characters, so they have these weird episodes with Hook and fake Hook interacting with Henry. Literally, no thanks.
I would much rather see Henry with his wife Ella or his grandpa Rumpelstiltskin or his mother Regina. Just no thanks. The writers need to have weird bro episodes without the women is something I do not understand. Especially with fake Hook, who is no one. I imagine the entire purpose of this episode is to show that Henry and fake Hook are friends.
There are so many more interesting, deep character things that they could spend episodes on then nonsense like this.
For me, Emma is the regular person. She is related to the fairytale families, but she is still the regular person. I don’t think this is going to be that interesting and this guy doesn’t even know the real murderer, rapist Zelena and he probably never will. This will just be another problematic relationships just like all the relationships on this show.
They keep acting like they are doing all these new and exciting things and they just aren’t. It is the same old nonsense. And they are still failing at their biggest issue which is character development. The characters choices need to drive the plot and they just don’t and that is why this show doesn’t work.
That has always been a real problem for the show. They don’t seem to understand anything about realistic, complicated relationships. It is like the evil characters cry once and then everyone else is supposed to forget they tried to murder them and murdered their family members.
It is like they took what could have been really fascinating like showing how the Evil Queen and Snow White can learn to work together and instead pretend it is a non issue. For some reason they just don’t understand that the complication of character and human interaction can be fascinating. Instead it is just hey here is Elsa. Here is the Wicked Witch. See cool, fun, yeah. Blah.
That is the issue. ABC doesn’t have a lot going for it and is losing a lot of shows. Though if Robert and Lana want to go, I would say they are done. Though, they continued after losing Jennifer and Ginny, so they clearly don’t care about the integrity of their story at all. That has been true since Season 3 though, so it really is just about money at this point.
At least with Scandal they know when to stop and Grey’s will never exist without Meredith.
Are they actually going to mention Neal again? I find that surprising. I thought they would just make Zelena and Rumpel part if the group and not mention it.
They just don’t even know their own show. That is why everything is so inconsistent. I just don’t find who Zelena or Regina are dating to be remotely interesting because they are no one new characters.
Exactly, they look like the barely know each other still that late in the season. I have always liked the present day scenes the best because they move the story, but even that isn’t happening anymore.
It is pretty crazy to me that Alice and Robyn aren’t together yet by episode 716. Drizella might not be on the show and Alice and Robyn are barely interacting. This show needs to move stuff forward a little bit better. There are too many characters right now and no focal point character.
