In her final scene with Rumpel in Skin Deep, she was pleading with him to understand and change his mind. She wasn’t angry at him. She was trying to talk some sense into him. I thought it was quite obvious what the writers were trying to do. I actually thought Belle’s love for Rumpel was quite clear. When we see her again in Dreamy, she’s going on and on about true love and how valuable it is. She was obviously talking about Rumpel. She was hurt and still missed Rumpel. That was made abundantly clear.
I don’t think Belle was pleading with Rumpel to change his mind, she was chewing him out. She seemed angry and disgusted with what he had just done to her the whole yelling and swearing and grabbing and throwing to the floor and locking up thing.

ParticipantWell Emma was adopted as a baby and lived with the same family until she was three. So if that family moved to Arizona then she would go with them. So that is a possibility. Though i think it seems like there is more evidence just because she was found in Maine, sent to Boston, and that the place where she visited Worcester when she got arrested was also in Mass so all of that seems like she was in the foster system in the Boston area. Also she was living in Boston again at the time of the Pilot. You are right thought. We don’t know for certain.
I still like the idea that she kept Henry for a few weeks. We will see though.

ParticipantJust because the original story is disturbing as well doesn’t mean that this depiction is not disturbing. They are the same. The original was disturbing and wrong and so was how it was shown in ONCE.
I don’t think Regina loves Henry because she is not capable of it.

ParticipantEmma was find right on the outskirts of Storyrbooke and was taken to Boston before she was adopted. I would find it highly unlikely that she would ever be in the foster care system in Arizona.

ParticipantI thought it didn’t make sense for Belle to tell him she loved him after how the two of them left it in fairytale land. Up until then i thought the show had made sense because the relationship had just been depicted in a disturbing way, but then it seems like they decided that Belle was still in love with him which is still disturbing, but i can’t tell if they mean it or not because it didn’t make sense based on where they left the relationship at the end of Skin Deep.

ParticipantI hope they do. They have got to explain how Henry found his way to Storybrooke. They can’t just leave it open. Especially because we know Rumpel didn’t have his memories. I really like the idea that Emma had time with Henry as a baby and that her choice was what brought him to Storybrooke. Not that she would know the specific details of his locations, but yeah like you said a wealthy, educated, stable family who really wanted a child. And maybe she would even like the idea of a single mother because there could be no giving him back when she had a baby of her own like what happened to Emma.
