ParticipantWell i would consider the curse a victory. Even though it was ended. She kept them all captive for 28 years and split Emma from her parents which is something that i think will never be fixed. It happened. It is. The time is lost. I would consider that a victory. She killed Snow’s father. She did separate Snow and Charming for a time. She had control of Snow’s kingdom for many years. Though in the end i would assume Regina will lose, but there have been battles she has won even though she will most likely lose the war.
And like you said there have been many skirmishes against Emma that she won. Though they may in the end redeem Regina which i see as a strong possibility.

ParticipantI don’t know. Regina has certainly had her victories.

ParticipantIt is weird when i think about Rumpel and Regina. I actually find Regina more frightening because she is very violent when she feels like it and you don’t quite know how she is going to react. I think Rumpel is a lot more dangerous, but he is more predictable so it seems less frightening. We will see where it will all lead next season.

ParticipantBut we know that Rumpel wasn’t protected from the curse. He didn’t get his memories back until he heard Emma’s name in Granny’s inn in the Pilot. and that was because he traded the her name for information about the curse. I just don’t get why it makes sense that Rumpel would have a plan that would involve him getting locked up because there seems to be no gain from it.

ParticipantI agree. There are a lot of things that seem out of character in the show. Like when Emma trusted Sidney. Maybe the answer is the same as it was for this situation. Rumpel let his emotions cloud his judgement. And maybe he did look for her, but couldn’t find her.

ParticipantI don’t know. George seemed very serious when he said Charming was not his son.

ParticipantWhy would it be Rumpel’s goal to be in prison when the curse struck? What does he have to gain by being in prison? He could have had both of those conversations, the one with Snow and Charming and the one with Regina, without being in prison.

ParticipantIt does seem rather careless that Charming wouldn’t try to hide his mother. The events of when he left King George to when he finally met up with Snow again at the glass coffin might not be that many days, a couple of weeks, or a month at the most.
I really thought that they would have Snow meet Charming’s mother and his mother would help her before either of them ever knew who the other was, but that never happened. Maybe it isn’t too late. They could have Snow and Red go there after they run from the hunting party.

ParticipantI don’t think that Charming believed what Rumpel said at all. I think Snow did. And Charming was just being logical about it. If you believe part of what Rumpel said then you need to believe all of it. And believing someone is telling the truth is not the same thing as trusting them, in my opinion. Pretty much Charming’s entire world has been turned upside down by Rumpel and not in a good way and when it comes down to it i am pretty sure the same is going to be true for Snow because of Cora and Regina and that is not even mentioning the whole incident with the dark curse for which Rumpel is very much responsible for.

ParticipantAren’t you a little short for a storm trooper?
