I wonder if this is another hint that they are getting cancelled. They know that are going out so they are willing to give a director credit to Lana. Though, I do think that Jennifer Morrison wanted to be a producer and have more creative control of her character and not to just direct a single episode. We will probably never know for sure though.

Yeah, i always felt like they didn’t do enough with making the stories about what happened to fairytale characters after. They did that a little bit, but then they just started retelling the stories which was less interesting to me. Instead, do something about why the witch is taking children and weave that together with other stories. The writers have never been good enough to do big world building though.
Breadcrumbs may just mean hints of things as well, if it is less literal and more the metaphor of how the characters got from here to there. Though, the writers are more into terrible surprise twist writing then into actually building a narrative.
Yeah, i was thinking more of recasting. At this point, they just need to let all of the old cast go.
Hansel and Gretel’s witch being one of the witches, if they are still doing that. I don’t even get what the plot of the next arc is going to be since they might be getting rid of Drizella.
I really think that Robert was straight up lied to about the storyline he was going to get in this season, so I definitely think he is out.
I do have a hard time imagining the old cast wanting to return after how little they have been given. If they find pilots, they should definitely seek work elsewhere.
I am getting sick of all the different streaming platforms too. There has to be another way. I think Ouat seems pretty done. The actors seem to be looking elsewhere. It is time.
I don’t know what i think. We know they just write as they go along. I sort of think that they brought Zelena back in because they knew people weren’t liking what they were doing. I also don’t think they initially planned for Alice to be with Robyn. It is hard to know though if they had another plan or they just didn’t have a plan for who Alice’s love interest would be and what they were going to do with Regina and Zelena and made this one up because they realized people weren’t really like Henry and Ella all that much.
Though, the problem with Henry and Ella is that the writers are bad writers, so they could also just fix the bad writing of those characters.
This doesn’t seem like it is going to be developed and doesn’t seem interesting. If he was an interesting person the maybe, but these writers can’t write character and no one should date Zelena.
