ParticipantI think they could bring Maleficent back if they want. Like you said in the Sleeping Beauty story she is killed by the prince, but we know in ONCE that she was speaking to Regina after the Sleeping Beauty story had happened in timeline, so if she came back from that death she could come back from this one. Though the how of the Sleeping Beauty story could have been different in ONCE then what we know from the disney version.

ParticipantRight. It does seem like they have some of the bigger things planned out, but there does seem to be a lack of consistency in the story and a lot of silly things they do that make no sense, but it connects the two stories the Storybrooke side and the fairytale land side. Like the apple being pulled from the hat. On one hand that is pretty cool that it is the same apple that Snow took a bite from and yet on the other hand that causes all sorts of issues with the pulling something through the hat from any time and place.
The details about the curse don’t really bother me. If the curse is sort of a changing object that does all of those things i have no issue with that. The food could just be replenished in the back room of the stores at night and since everyone’s memories are off then they wouldn’t know that was happening. And Emma wouldn’t know. It is also possible that no one ever buys new clothes. It seemed like no one ever went to Granny’s inn besides Regina and Graham before Emma came to town, so it is possible that a lot of the shops never really had patrons. It would only be the food that would really need to be replenished and that could just be a hammerspace curse thing which works for me.

ParticipantI don’t think there can be a war at this point either. I think that they need to find a way to try and make some sort of peace feel real otherwise the show won’t work. At least right now. I mean they are enemies and in that way at war, but i think they need to find some way for the characters to be able to walk around and do normal things.

ParticipantI think that they will address the magic in the first episode, but the idea that the first episode will be Rumpel centric i don’t think works for what the show is. I think that the first episode needs to be grounded in the present time conflict in the fairytale land with Snow and Charming taking back the kingdom. And that in Storybrooke that it needs to be surrounding the first meetings. I actually don’t think they are going to just give away the game of what the magic did though. I think they will be like what did that just do and who caused it, but not just say it. It will be an open question for the season. They may think that Regina did it and not Rumpel. But i think it very important that they do the first meetings.

ParticipantWell Regina loves Henry. I don’t think true love should be what causes people to use the magic. And i don’t really want people just throwing fireballs around town right now. That seems a bit much. And honestly i want them to keep the CGI out of Storybrooke as much as they can because it is just terrible.

ParticipantIt did not seem sudden or dues ex machina to me the way Emma believed. It was like she believed in that moment and then when she grabbed the book she saw. It is almost as if she believed first and saw second. And they have been leading up to her belief for the entire season. It is like there is this 16 hour movie and the main character believes in the last hour and that does not seem sudden to me at all. It felt right to me. And they had been pushing so hard at her belief ever since Hat Trick that it felt like it was time and i love that she believed early on in the episode and we at least got to see her trying to deal with it throughout the episode. Emma was like in shock and just trying to keep those emotions down so she could do what she had to do to save Henry. It was great.

ParticipantIn Storybrooke? I remember it in Desperate Souls. And i think it was in there in the episode where August goes into Rumpel’s back room. I would not consider it a commonly seen object.

ParticipantGeorge did say that, but i don’t think it can be assumed that Snow understood what he meant exactly. I think that needs to be explained better. Especially because as far as we know Snow does not even know Charming’s real name. She still thinks it is James and they were still calling Charming, Prince James, when the Blue Fairy was speaking to Geppetto about making the cabinet.

ParticipantCora is too old to still be having children so if Regina is aging normally which she is then Cora has to still be aging as well.

ParticipantI think that they were talking about the fact that Henry could die, but also who really knows what will happen now that the bottle of love has been placed in the well. There should be no bringing back people from the dead. That is just never a good way to go for a show like this, in my opinion.
I don’t think they should have it where just the evil side has magic though. I think that causes way too many complications for how there enough peace in town to still be able to do the character driven moments of the show. We will see. They can go so many places that it is very unclear at this point.
