Yeah, the scene with Rumpel made no sense. He was still sane enough to remember Belle and the importance of the cup, but then he was acting stranger then we have ever seen him act. Is it possible that he did something that helped Alice not be so crazy because Alice seemed more sane in this episode then she has in any of the others?

I think that the boyfriend will matter and will come into the story and will be a fairytale character.
It almost looks like the flashbacks in this episode are about Zelena and fake Hook finding out about Alice and Robyn. That one scene looked like Robyn doing some sort of spell in Regina’s place in the graveyard in Storybrooke. I wonder if this is sort of the explanation as to why Zelena goes off to the Enchanted Forest with Robyn and then that allows Robyn and Alice to meet.
I think this curse is different then the original curse. In the original curse, Rumpel’s goal was to regain his memories, regain his magic, and to remain in the Land Without Magic to find Bae. I think this new curse if broken would just return them all to the Enchanted Forest 2 and Henry would then die. Though, i have no idea what that has to do with saving Lucy. They should just find a different way to save Lucy that has nothing to do with breaking the curse.
I sort of thought the witches were just going to be new characters. Not anyone we have seen already. That is why they had hoods on, so that they can add in characters on a whim. They could easily just be different versions of characters we have already seen.
I thought they just brought Tiger Lily back because they were reincorporating that earlier scene, but i do think they should do something with the fairies. They should have done something with the fairies like 2 years ago. They seem like the obvious connection. The scene with them by the tree was odd because they cold have easily had that scene without Tiger Lily being in it.
This is probably a flashback. I doubt that Hook is ever going to wear his hook again in the present day scenes. I can’t believe that the curse is still lingering around. Maybe this is in one of the realms where people dress like old school English, like the Jekyll and Hyde realm or the old Victorian realm where Bae met the Darling family before he was taken by the shadow. It could be a realm like that. It sort of looks like they are in some sort of laboratory.
It being the wish realm doesn’t explain any of these things because the wish realm was exactly like the original Enchanted Forest except Regina was good and the family was evil, Emma was crazy. No one looked like a different person like it does in the Enchanted Fores 2. Being sent to a distant land means to me that Gothel’s tower is in another realm and that realm is the Enchanted Forest 2. They should just give this realm another name. Even just calling it Henry’s Enchanted Forest.
It seems unlikely that they will kill Tremaine anytime soon because they need to work on her relationship with Drizella. Unless both characters are gone then i don’t think that either of them are gone. Now that Drizella has been tricked by Gothel and is trapped somewhere, they are going to show her and Tremaine discuss their issues. That is where the character growth is leading. To kill her now makes no sense characterwise.
Of course, the writers are terrible. They have killed other characters when it made no sense characterwise to kill them, so it is possible, but it seems very unlikely. Also, we know that they are trapped somewhere, so them not filming in the very few scenes that are filmed outside does not mean a lot to me.
