It just seems like he had already became a bad person by that point. He was cowardly during the war and ran. And he decided to kill the dark one on the word of some man he had met for five minutes. He burned that castle down just so that he could gain power. I know that people say that is because he was trying to save his son, but Bae was willing to go and fight so i don’t really accept that.
And also while we don’t know for certain, it was my impression that Rumpel may have done something to Bae’s mother, killed her, or he may have simple stole Bae from his mother. We don’t know. There was just nothing about Rumpel that was oh this is a good guy and a lot that was this is not a good guy, in my opinion.
[adrotate group="5"]I am not sure about whose return they are talking about. I am going towards Bae, Rumpel’s son, but i think he is too old to be in the real world. Though they could do some magical transportation through time to make that all work out. Usually the titles have meanings about both worlds so whoever returns would return in the real world and the fairytale world. I don’t know though. Maybe not.
I really like the idea that Regina had a child with the stable boy and lost him to Rumpel. I also really the idea that Regina’s mother is the miller’s daughter and that would make Regina the child that was supposed to be taken by Rumpel. I also really liked that great theater that Regina had a child, Rumpel took him, and he was sent to the real world and is Henry’s father. So many great theories. I just don’t know.
I think the trial will be over before the Finale maybe in a couple of episodes and they will have something else going on in the real world as we get nearer the end. Maybe about Emma believing a bit and someone getting their memories back.
I don’t think so. I think that the hairs were just an ingredient for the Dark Curse. The bottle of love which is why Emma is the savior because her parents love was the last ingredient.
There is an interview with the two makers of the show and they mention at around 2:28 in the video that it may be when Gold hears Emma’s name in the pilot that he gets his memory back. That that may be the catalyst. So maybe his memories aren’t quite clear yet. Link.
