ParticipantIn my opinion, i don’t think that proves anything because there are other things that were transported and transformed in Storybrooke as well like the Troll bridge or the mines.

ParticipantThank you slurpeez. Honestly that is the only question i really want an answer to because Rumpel’s character isn’t making much sense to me. His character does not seem cohesive and honestly doesn’t make sense as of now. Though i hate his back story episodes, but i want to know why he had the curse and didn’t do it but gave it to the queen and told her how to do it so she would do the curse.

ParticipantThat is a great point slurpeez108. Emma is the only one who is not under the curse. I like how you said that.

ParticipantI don’t think that we have seen the queen do magic in the real world. Though like i said elsewhere i don’t believe that the fairytale land is under Storybrooke. I just think that the magic was already done on the heart so that the queen just used normal force to crush it. I do think that the queen is still using the mirrors to spy on people, but we have seen no evidence of that. There is just something about the way they shoot a lot of the scenes that make me think the queen is watching.

ParticipantI actually think it is unlikely that all the main princesses will have their happy ending. I read that the makers of the show were going to kill Charming off in the first episode, but other members of the show were not happy about this so they didn’t do it. It is sort of like they were going to kill of Jack in the first episode of LOST, but that didn’t feel right so instead they had the smoke monster kill the pilot. I think that is very likely that some of the main princesses don’t get happily ever afters and if i were to pick one it would be Rumple and Belle.

ParticipantWell i don’t believe that Fairytale land is under Storybrooke. I just think the dwarfs put snow’s coffin in their mine in the fairytale land so that when the fairytale land was transported into the real world Storybrooke that it was transported here with other objects like Snow’s ring or the objects in Gold’s shop. I sort of think of Gold’s shop and his house as his castle and the things that were in his castle are in his shop or his house like the cup, the genie’s lamp, the parent puppets.
Was the unicorn mobile still with Snow and Charming when Snow gave birth to Emma? Rumpel could have stolen that also.

ParticipantThe problem with Peter Pan is that the rights belong to a hospital in perpetuity and legally so in England. The rights never belonged to disney. They just had an option for a movie. Then then still own the rights to their images and their movie, but they are not allowed to make a second movie or use the material for something else. And they can’t then make another movie and say it is based on their movie unless they make another deal with the hospital that owns the rights. That isn’t how it works. And disney has done more then one Peter Pan movie. They did the cartoon and they also did Hook and i think there was another.
I think things just become complicated with Peter Pan because of the rights being given to the hospital by the author in perpetuity and the courts in England legally allowed for the hospital to have the rights forever and not allow them to go into public domain. Otherwise Peter Pan would be in public domain because i think it has been long enough. I think it has been a hundred years since the book was written. Usually it is the life of the author plus 70 years until something goes into public domain, but Peter Pan is a special case.
The thing with ABC and disney being the same is that ONCE can use the disney material that is owned by disney like the look of the characters or the dwarfs names and so on. There are a lot of things that Disney made up for their versions that have nothing to do with the copyright of the original version. Probably mostly the names though and that is nice because it reminds us of the versions we saw as children.
February 25, 2012 at 2:43 pm in reply to: Why didn’t Mr. Gold ask for the teacup with please? #137668hjbau
ParticipantNo actually i wasn’t saying that Regina told Moe to break into Rumpel’s house and steal stuff. Moe doesn’t know about the cup or anything, but the queen told him to steal the cup knowing that Rumpel would want it back. And Moe gave the cup to Regina. Rumpel didn’t know that at first so he attacked Moe trying to get the cup back and let out some of his anger about Belle. The queen is therefore responsible for taking the cup and she had the cup so she won that game.
I meant the queen tricked Rumpel into thinking it was Moe’s idea to rob him when we know it was the queen’s.

ParticipantI really think that the curse just transported everyone to the real world and so if they return they will be transported back. It may be that the fairytale land was turned into the real world Storybrooke so that everyone that is in Storybrooke when the curse is broken is transported back.

ParticipantI don’t know. I think they could end this season with Charming finding Snow at the glass coffin. I think that is where the season seems like it is going in the fairytale land, but i am less sure where the season goes in the real world. Maybe with Mary remembering or at least one person remembering and Emma believing, but i think Emma should believe a couple, maybe three episodes ahead of the end of the season.
