ParticipantI think it is pretty likely that Tremaine is Rapunzel. The question now is just which one of the people left is fake Hook’s daughter.

ParticipantRight now, with no information, i am going with Drizella killed Anastasia accidentally because Anastasia was the favorite daughter and Drizella was not. If Drizella is the LGBT character, which seems possible, then maybe it will have something to do with that and Anastasia finding that out. Tremaine knows and that explains the strain between her and Drizella, but Tremaine publicly blamed Ella to keep her in check and to protect Drizella because she was her only remaining daughter. She, also, uses this information to keep Drizella in check and to get her to marry the man she wants her to marry, aka the second prince who is now the first in line to the throne after the prince who was killed died in the last episode.
I agree though that Anastasia will be brought back somehow, but i think she might come back wrong or die quickly after.

ParticipantI liked this episode much better then the first two. I liked the resistance and i liked Lucy a lot more. I liked Regina speaking from experience to Ella.
I think it was hard though to see them building the resistance just because this is what they should have shown with Snow and Charming, at least much more then they did, in Season 2 of the first Ouat. Now, we are trying to care about the resistance of these new characters and we don’t really know any of the players enough to care at this point.
Also, Tiana clearly knows Hook.
It, also, felt idiotic the way Regina was like nice to finally meet you, like Henry and Ella had some sort of relationship when they have had two conversations and met like 24 hours ago. That just did not work and felt silly. At least Snow and Charming spent the day together when they first met and you got to see the kind of people they were and why they might like each other. I am not at all clear why Ella might like Henry at this point, she knows nothing about him, or why Henry would like Ella.
There are a lot of weird assumptions in the writing that need to be explained better.

ParticipantI didn’t understand the whole explanation of who the royal family was supposed to be either. Was Cinderella’s father the king and then the prince that was killed’s father then murdered Cinderella’s father to become king and Tremaine was trying to take the thrown back somehow. That was just all very confusing. I couldn’t tell if the resistance who was against the royal family was talking about the king, whomever that is, and the prince who was just murdered, or if they were talking about Tremaine.
We know that Tremaine murdered Cinderella’s father, took part in that conspiracy, as did the prince who was killed, but Tremaine doesn’t seem to be the power in the land, not like Regina was, or Snow was, or Rumpel was, at least from what we have seen.
I think there was a lot of implying here without showing or telling us enough for us to understand what is going on. It is always the throw away comments that are so thoughtless because the writers haven’t thought about anything.

ParticipantJennifer might have had to sign something saying that she wouldn’t badmouth the show even after she leaves. That can happen with just regular jobs, so i imagine it might happen with any show. I can’t imagine though that she signed anything that had specific talking points, as in, she has to continue to pretend to support captain swan.
I think that Jennifer sometimes isn’t honest enough in these things because she is worrying about what people will say and really that is not a game worth playing. People get upset when she doesn’t answer questions, just as much as when she does, and when she says different sorts of things at different times, so if she just said what she actually thought all the time then she wouldn’t have this problem. I think the following talking points thing is nonsense and she just shouldn’t do it.
I think having an idea about what spoilers are allowed to be revealed and maybe an idea of what things they want to be brought up makes sense as talking points, but telling the actors that they have to lie about how they feel about things is just complete nonsense and the actors should not agree to do that. It does them no favors and does the show no favors. People like it when the actors feel like their own people, with their own points of view. I think that Jennifer cares too much what people think and how people respond to what she says and she should not.

ParticipantI was kind of wondering if the names were going to be significant, but now i don’t really think they are. I think it would have been more interesting if they had somehow been names of significant. You can really tell how in this episode the show is pretty much letting go completely of the past show and moving on to this new show.

ParticipantIt would be such a mistake at this point to have Regina and Hook get together. Too many people just don’t like any version of Hook and this version of Hook is still a bumbling idiot. Regina would never date him.

ParticipantWhy would Drizella do the curse and then be her mother’s assistant? Why wouldn’t she do like Regina did and make her mother meek and have her mother serve her? I don’t think that makes sense. I also don’t think the curse is going to be the same potion, so no one was sacrificed to do this curse.
I think the fact that the family structure is almost completely intact is important to what is going on here. Tremaine seems to know something about Henry because she is trying to get rid of him all the time. There is something to that. It is like everyone is cursed, but their personalities and motivations are still all exactly the same in the real world as they were in the Enchanted Forest 2. There should be some reason for that, but who knows with these writers.

ParticipantThere is no circular reasoning because i am not giving you a reason. I am not trying to convince you. I don’t care if you believe this or not.

ParticipantI’m fine with that. We are talking about car keys here. There is no harsh criticism. The scene is stupid, but it is the least of this episode’s problems and certainly the least of the show’s problems. Most people that drive regularly keep their car keys and their house key on the same key chain. I am not really going to argue about that. I don’t care enough to.
