I don’t think this at all helped to send Emma off into the sunset. It still makes no sense that Henry has not seen Emma in ten years and no one has come to look for him. It just makes no sense that Henry got married and had a child and never tried to see Emma or Snow or Charming again. It makes no sense that Emma had a child and never tried to visit Henry again.
It just makes no sense at all. I laughed when they were jumping through the portal with the music swelling and the slow motion. This was silly and terrible and just complete filler that in no way solved the problem of where is Emma at.
The obvious suggestion is that fake Hook’s daughter is Alice because of the chess piece. Though, they had him weirdly staring at Cinderella 2 at one point as well.
I am glad that it is done though and that they are gone and were never confirmed true love’s and it’s over and i never have to see that nonsense or see Emma trying to survive in an abusive relationship ever again. It is done with. This Hook only has one memory of Emma and has nothing else to do with her.
[adrotate group="5"]Yeah, Rumpel and Hook had like no screentime either. Usually the premiere episodes share the screentime and they had to introduce all the new characters. I don’t know that Cinderella is a good enough actor to carry her part, but it was a first episode which can be bad. There was nothing interesting about them as characters, so far, so we will see.
Tonights episode is going to be terrible, since it is mostly filler, but we will see after that.
That is certainly how Emma acts. She acts like she is worried Hook is going to hit her. Emma acting childlike and small and meek is just disturbing.
Exactly, no matter what the dialogue, whatever silly thing happens, it is Emma’s choice. Hook doesn’t get to tell her she needs to rest. There is no excuse they can give that will make sense here. Whatever happens will be out of character to the extreme. At least, it will finally be over.
Yeah, Emma just needs to go. They ruined her character seasons ago, so it just needs to be done. They don’t care about the integrity of their story and their characterization. They are just trying to keep people watching, so they can make money. That’s it.
This is why a writer sometimes needs to kill a character because showing them walking away from their family is worse then them dying.
I really think the reason this is going to be the last season is that they are wasting too much time on characters that they are done with. They should have just left it and moved on from Emma and Belle and Zelena. If they are done because the actors don’t want to be on the show anymore or because they don’t want them on the show anymore then just cut the cord and move on to the new story. They aren’t going to do enough with the new story and so no one is going to care about it.
Yeah, that is the problem. They were supposed to be the real stories. The real versions. It just makes no sense. Though, i agree, i am definitely at the place where this show hasn’t made sense in years and you just have to go with it. The world building and the story is just terrible. It just isn’t a good story.
I think the idea though is that the stories come from an original source and the whole idea was that the Ouat stories were the real people behind all the different stories. Now, that just isn’t true. I think it makes the world much less interesting that there are just multiple versions of any kind of all the stories. That makes it feel like the people in these stories are somehow being controlled by the story and that they have no choice in the matter. This show already has a problem with choice and now it is much worse.
