I think all of the interviews have just been so bad. They aren’t saying anything interesting about the show. It is like they are trying to excuse the change instead of actually say something interesting. The actors interviews have all been bad too. They are rebooting the show, they need to be a little less tight with the spoilers because they really need to say something interesting about the new show.
[adrotate group="5"]I think that is right. I think that the focus of the show is now on Henry and Cinderella and Lucy. The mystery of the new big bad and how they got cursed and who is and who isn’t fairytale characters will also be part of it. All the returning characters are just going to be there to give them a little finish and move on from them.
Emma is already separated from her true love, so there is no satisfying ending to be had. Emma is my favorite character and the idea of her just leaving Henry is pretty repugnant. Especially because she is not off have a happy ending if she never gets to see Henry again. That is not a thing. Henry is part of her happy ending. Though, i agree that the actor wants off, Jennifer is going to be in one episode, just let her go at this point. It is not going to be good, just do it and end it. They should have killed her last season and just ended it already.
These writers write scared though, so whatever they do is going to be scared, so a split Hook is possible even though it doesn’t make a single bit of sense and is really poor story telling, it could happen because it is the scared, weak way to end it.
I don’t know where the Pied Piper comment was but wasn’t the pied piper, Peter Pan? Alice knowing the pied piper. Was that just a throw away line? Alice is spending a lot of time with Rumpel. Peter Pan was Rumpel’s father. Is there some meaning to that or not?
So in 701 Hook remembers Emma, but thinks she’s dead? At least there is only two episodes to endure before it is all over.
I hope you are right too. I don’t like the theory either.
I just do think that Colin thought they were two separate human persons, one that was with Emma and one that lived in the neighborhood. I just think all the other evidence, things stated by the show runners and the writers, suggest that they are one individual, the same one we have always known, just now they have cursed memories. Though, like you said they did split Regina, into the Evil Queen, so that they could give a sort of, but not really happy ending to Robin and Regina. All i am saying is it is possible even though all the other evidence points to this being the Hook that has been on the show since Season 2.
I agree with everything you said. I think all the evidence points to them all being the same people just with cursed memories. The only thing is that i don’t think that is what Colin said. I think he thought when he said this that they were two separate individuals. He may be wrong, quite easily, because he wasn’t in Season 1 when everyone was cursed and Hook has never been cursed, so he might just not get it, but i do think that is what he said. I think he said there is a version of Hook that is with Emma and they are off living somewhere together, but there is also this second version of Hook that lives in the new neighborhood and is cursed.
The other thing is that i think the show runners have done quite a few things because they seem to think people like Emma and Hook being a couple when most people do not. I could see them doing something that makes no sense at all just to try to preserve that very small part of the fandom. At this point, we will see is all i know.
If they had only filmed three episodes by the time of this interview, maybe Colin was only in the one flashback and thought that was the original version at the time and they were happy. Who knows. I just don’t think that makes sense. Though that doesn’t mean it can’t happen, because anything can happen on this show.
