ParticipantWhose home is that? Is that Henry’s place?
I think it is Cinderella’s place. Though i think that Cinderella has an apartment and Tiana has an apartment and Henry has an apartment all in the same building. Regina might live over the bar. I am not sure about Hook and Rumpel.

ParticipantThey said that the neighborhood is looking for leadership and what better place then someone who has been a mayor and a queen. I really do worry that they are going to be waffling back and forth between Regina trying to take Emma’s place and Cinderella trying to take her place. I am just not sure how that works.
I think it is funny that Henry wrote a book about the first six seasons and everyone hates it. That sounds about right.
Alice is the most interesting character that they have talked about so far. Is it possible she is the dark one in this new book? They need to give the new book a name and give the second Enchanted Forest another name. Why is that stuff always stupid and confusing?
The way they are talking about the LGBT character is still frustrating. They should just say who it is. They are trying to not make a big thing about it, but they still are making a big thing about it because they are hiding it.
I still think it is terrifying that they are doing a storyline on gentrification because i just think that could so easily be offensive and they would have no clue.
I definitely think it seems like that time just moves faster in this new realm and Henry grew fifteen years while the three stayed the same age. That would make it possible that the good guys cast the curse to get out of the speed land, so that they were in the same time as everyone else. Or if it takes them a year to get out of speed land then anyone left in Storybrooke could have a fifteen year old child quite easily that might show up in the new neighborhood. We will see, i guess.

ParticipantIt is hard to read this because i just think Adam and Eddy are lying. I think that they would have kept on if Jennifer had agreed to stay on the show. The whole we reinvent the show ever year, meaning they rewrite the characters every year, yeah we know, is just alarming. I can’t believe they think that is reasonable enough to talk about it in an interview as a throw away comment.
I just don’t believe them at all that they realized in Season 4 that they were going to end the arc of the characters at Season 6. I just think they are straight up lying because it serves their purposes to say that.
They did not end the show how they intended when they pitched the show. I don’t even get how they can say that with a straight face. There is no way Emma and Rumpel’s endings were even remotely like they originally intended. They are just lying and i find that grating.

ParticipantI wish they would just release them unfiltered. They are pretty bad, but promo pictures usually are.

ParticipantFor me, the problem is that the show has completely turned over all of their female characters except for Regina. I think that is just a real problem for a show like this and for the audience of a show like this. They also have no good guys left and are really going to have to have that.
The fandom may talk about the villains, but that is not why the general audience watches a show like this, in my opinion. The writing problems on this show and the really badly written “redemption” arcs are just furthered by the loss of all the good guys and the keeping of the three bad guys.
I, personally, don’t think that works. I don’t think that is survivable. The only way would be to brand this as a completely new show and they aren’t doing a very good job doing that. They have always cared too much about the ten people on twitter and trying to keep them, instead of caring about keeping the general audience.

ParticipantI have a hard time imagining them giving Rumpel another child, but i would be fine with that. I don’t know if Rumpel and Alice are interacting a lot because he is a cop and she is like the delinquent or if it is because they are related. I wonder if she has her memories. He could have been her teacher in the past. She could just be the villain of the arc.
I am ready for the season to start because we need some real information at this point.

ParticipantI think there could be a bump for 701, but i think then it will fall. I think there are people that want to see what is going on with the new characters, and a lot of people that are glad that CS is over, but that is a fandom thing and i am not sure how much the general audience knows what is going on with the loss of all the protagonists on the show.
We haven’t seen anything of the new female protagonists either, so i am just not sure. They just haven’t promoted them. I have no idea if i am going to like them as characters or not, because we haven’t seen anything, but a few pictures. We haven’t even heard them speak. I think that is what is important. They have to introduce the new characters and make them interesting to the audience immediately. I don’t know that these writers can do that.
For me, the new protagonists and Rumpel and Regina are where the focus for the first episode should go.

ParticipantWhen the actors say they like the writing, to me, that just means they like what they are getting to act and that does not mean that it is well written and cohesive and has good character development. It might just mean that their part is interesting to them.

ParticipantMaybe they will wait til we see how Henry and Cinderella interact before giving them their couple name.

ParticipantI really just don’t like them talking about Henry as the lead of the show now. This show just cannot have a male lead, in my opinion. It will not work.
Also, while it is a reboot, i am not convinced at all new viewers can jump in when they are wasting so much time bringing back old characters. Of the first seven episodes, half of them are being wasted by bringing back some of the old characters and i just don’t think that works. They have also kept, in my opinion, the most disconnected and pointless characters on the show. Regina being Henry’s mother is the only one actually connected. All the other connections are going to be created out of thin air.
Also, the writers being excited does not excite me because they know nothing about character and plot and should never be allowed to run a show. They just can’t write and that hasn’t changed between seasons.
