I agree that there have been no reports, but i do think that anything can happen on this show because this show does not make sense. I think a 25 year old could play a teenager. They often do. I am not saying that is going to happen for sure, but it is possible. Also, if there is a child, it might not show up til later. I do think that them saying we will find out soon in the season does make it seem less likely. I still think a lot of stupid things have happened on this show, so who knows.
Is there really suspense in this show anymore though? I mean we all know that the curse will break and probably sooner then later. That is the problem with having cursed memories. That is not interesting as a storyline because eventually it will break and they will hug and everything will be fine. It means that any problems that the characters are having while they are cursed are superficial and meaningless because they are only happening because they don’t remember, and the moment they remember, all their problems are gone. It is like an obstacle with a built in deus ex machina.
It is also very different then the first season where Emma had her memories and the mystery was will she believe what Henry is saying. The show was about Emma becoming a mother to a child she knew was hers. It was not this is her child and she doesn’t know it, so they have these weird conversations that seem bizarre because she shouldn’t be talking to this child that isn’t hers which could happen with Henry and Lucy.
The mystery in the first season was not will the curse break. I think most people thought the curse would not break right away, but as of now they have done too many memory curses and they need that to end quickly. I think someone needs to have their memories back by at the latest episode 7. Then they could just uncurse people one at a time. I could see them holding out on breaking the curse though because i think they realize what a mistake it was breaking the curse in Season 1.
I agree. It would be very strange, but I think that whatever they are going to do with Emma is going to be strange. It just isn’t going to make sense because they don’t understand her character, so Emma going back for some reason could happen. I just think anything could happen. This might not happen, but it could.
Is Hook the cop passing a paper bag again? They are interacting with Alice as well. Yeah, there definitely seems to be some like cops looking into stuff going on. Though no one has their real memories, so that makes it sort of pointless.
Well, we don’t really know any of that. Hook won’t have a love interest right away, but he may eventually have one. All the characters have had multiple partners over the show, so it could happen. The only storyline we have heard about Hook is about his mother and him being a cop, so that leaves a lot of who knows what will happen with that character.
All we do know is that Emma is not coming back and that story is over. I hope it is Colin’s last season, but i am not convinced of that either. It is different with Bobby who can easily move on to other projects. Also, the show runners and ABC like him, so it depends on that and whether or not the show even gets another season which i would say most likely it will not, but it should have been cancelled years ago and they are losing Scandal and How to get away with murder this year, so who knows what will happen with ABC. It depends on a lot that we don’t know right now.
it’s a nice way to get her off the show if she were returning later. I wouldn’t really like it if Emma pops up, goes: “Hey guys. I’ve a bun in this oven! So see ya guys never” and then we don’t see her ever again because, again, this is the only episode she will be appearing in again. Ever. This is her curtain call. It’s possible the baby may stick around but….why?
i don’t want a Hook/Henry/CS baby seal without Emma especially knowing she isn’t coming back. Unless they pull a Prue Hailliwell and they always give excuses as to why she can’t be seen (for those who don’t remember when Prue died they never showed her spirit or anything despite the fact that the charmed ones could bring their family’s ghosts back. They always gave excuses as to why Prue never showed up when in reality the actress was fired or something like that)
I wonder if the characters who are returning are from right after Henry left. Like they tried to find him and somehow traveled through time. That could explain something of that is going on here. Emma should be older, everyone should be older, not just Henry. I really think Emma could be dead. That is just the easiest way to be done with her. She has been dead for awhile anyways, so might as well just finish her even if it is off screen somehow.
I definitely agree that there is very little suggestion that there is a new baby. I would still say it could go either way. Though, since they are done now with Captain Swan, because Emma is gone for good somehow, it makes sense to just finish it. Especially, if they intend to continue on with the Hook character for an extended period of time.
Though a new child would add a sibling for Henry and give something for Hook who has no connection at all to the characters left on the show. I think that is why i think that it could go either way. Whatever they are going to do with Emma is not going to make sense and will probably being pretty much awful. That has been true for quite a long time, in my opinion, so really that leaves what would a this child do for the show and for the characters left and i think a child could add something.
Though, it might make it more difficult for Hook to have a new love interest, which because of how this show is, i think is inevitable. I do think though, if there is a new child, it will be older.
I am just not understanding how the memory thing is actually happening. There are no real people on the show right now because everyone is cursed. I think i really just have to pretend this is just a completely new show because what they are doing sounds redundant and boring.
Also, this show is not about hope. It has not been about hope since Season 1. The good guys lose and the bad guys get everything. I cannot believe that the show runner of this show is still spouting that nonsense. May he never run a show again.
