ParticipantI had never even heard of Elena of Avalor til people started talking about it possibly being on Ouat. It looks like it is a Disney show that aired really recently and kids are not their target audience. I think it feels like a mistake to do that because i agree it is not a pull. I think it would just be better to make Lucy’s mother be a new fairytale character.

ParticipantI don’t know. For some reason, i have no interest in Lucy as a character. I just don’t think kids are that great and what made the Emma/Henry relationship interesting was Emma and later Regina when she become more reasonable as a character. I think that there is a chance that something could be good with the new Henry, but it can’t just be a retread with a lesser actor.
I think, for me, the new female character has to take the focus, not Henry.

ParticipantYeah, i could imagine they want to come. I sort of could see Comic Con not being interested as well. There are a lot of new shows coming out this year that could be more interesting for Comic Con then a show that is going into its seventh season after losing most of its cast.
There are a lot of new shows. The Inhuman’s, Krypton, the new Star Trek, the Gifted. Orphan Black coming to and end, as well as, the first season of Handmaid’s Tale just happening. I am sure there are others. There just seems to be a lot more to choose from this year that could be interesting.

ParticipantI am glad to hear that there will be more then six regulars. For me, they really need to bring in some new female leads with the loss of four female regulars and the two top billings. The cast pretty much seems insane right now as it stands. I think that they need to introduce Lucy’s mother quickly and make her a main focus of the plot as well as another female regular who can be more in the background like Belle, Zelena, and Hook.

ParticipantSince they lost all of their well known actors and Bobby doesn’t like to go, i could see them not going. They probably want to though, so they can talk about their plan for next season and maybe introduce some of their new characters.

ParticipantMaybe everyone has been trapped in the Once Upon a Time storybook.

ParticipantWhy do shows have two hour premieres? That is just too much time for a new show. They need to ease their audience into getting to know the characters and sometimes that can take many episodes, but getting bored the first time you watch a show because it goes on too long is never a good thing.

ParticipantWell if you are going to do worst parents Rumpel and Regina certainly have to be on the list or i don’t see the point.

ParticipantI am surprised. A Land Without Magic is my favorite episode of this show. I never thought it would win the poll though.

ParticipantI think that while i like The Pilot, it, alongside The Thing You Love Most, are the two episodes that cause the most long term plot inconsistencies for the show. At least back then. Now everything the characters do is pretty much inconsistent with previous characterization and the short term plots have no connection to the near past of the show let alone the far past of the characters lives.
But even back then, you can tell that the writers were not keeping track of their timeline and would throw out dialogue that was inconsistent with future events that happened in the show.
