ParticipantThis episode was just about a bunch of characters I don’t really care about. Alice was the only thing interesting going on here, but I don’t care about her relationship with fake Hook or with Gothel. There are no actually stakes there because Alice is friends with Hook, but doesn’t like Gothel.
Henry and Ella are just ridiculous. The blood test is dumb. The shoe in the bag is dumb. The t-shirt. Them taking was just boring. Either uncurse them or don’t show them.
This episode was just further proof of the problem of having a show without a lead. It does not work. They needed a new good guy female protagonist that was part of every story, that was the center, that was in every episode, but they don’t have that and the show doesn’t work like this.

ParticipantDidn’t we already know this? That is definitely what the baby is though. Just another hammer over the head. This show has never been about hope. It is more that evil always wins then about hope.

ParticipantIt might be because they didn’t both believe. They could be why the curse didn’t break. Though, they have been very inconsistent about that.

ParticipantWe have thought for quite awhile that this was the thing, but it really isn’t that interesting of a thing and doesn’t really explain anything.

ParticipantMaybe it is the other Evil Queen or Robin since he is showing up again. Though, i don’t think he knows how to use a phone.

ParticipantMaybe since Henry is the author, he will somehow be able to disperse the dark one immortality while still destroying the power, and it will be able to save him from his death curse problem. I do think that Henry being the author is probably still important. They keep talking about it.
I really am not sure i think how this happens is all that important. I think Henry is probably the guardian. Henry will be saved from the death curse he is under. Rumpel will rid himself of the dark one power. The immortality will not be passed. There will be some dialogue about it that will work it all out in some way that will make me roll my eyes.

ParticipantI don’t think the immortality will be passed either. I think that needs to be resolved. I, also, think that Rumpel won’t die in the passing of it, but he will die after he passes the curse to the guardian. I have no idea how he is going to die though.

ParticipantYeah, i don’t know either. Part of me thinks they are going to wrap all of the extra characters up i the next two episodes and just end it with the old characters, plus Ella, Alice, Robyn, and fake Hook. They really do have a lot to do in the next four episodes. If it is me, they should wrap up the new characters in the next episode and then give the last three to Regina, Rumpel, and Henry, but i don’t really know. Henry has never really had his own story though, so maybe the episode where Henry is saved from this curse thing will be about how Regina feels about that.
What plot points are left anyways? Getting rid of Gothel. Getting rid of Facilier. Henry dying if the curse breaks. Rumpel and the dark one curse and the guardian. Fake Hook and Alice can’t be together. Everyone in Hyperion Heights getting their memories. Returning to Storybrooke. The curse on Storybrooke breaking and everyone returning to the Enchanted Forest 1 and 2.
It is hard to even guess what they are doing because there is no character growth going on, so it is just going to be random events til the end. They could wrap up the whole Henry might die if the curse breaks and Rumpel and the dark one curse and the guardian all in one go because it might all be the same thing. That really feels like the main thing that is left and once that is fixed everyone can easily return home. Regina hasn’t had a plot the entire season except trying to fix Henry’s curse. Henry hasn’t had a plot at all. Fake Hook and Alice have the heart plot, but they will maguffin that away, so i don’t really see that being a big thing.
I am hoping that everyone has their memories back for at least the last two episode, so we don’t have to see Henry talking about a piece of paper til the end.

ParticipantYeah, I wonder if Tiana is involved somehow.

ParticipantWell, i don’t have a problem with the end of LOST. The OUAT writers though have consistently forgotten major plot points. It is possible that they will remember the undoing thing, but that would be one in a million for them. They have consistently forgotten things that have happened in the episode right before the one they are airing which is a pretty impressive lack of organization and just general care for the story. There is absolutely no coherence of story or character on OUAT, in my opinion. It is just a random occurrence of events with characters who behave differently based on random plot points and macguffins and deus ex machinas that jump in to save the day or mess it up.
It is just going to random its way out and then end.
