I really loved the Bellamy and Octavia conversations as well. I am glad we got to see her being more sane and see her questioning her ability to lead. I liked seeing Indra helping her. It made Octavia feel more human and she has been so intense lately, and while i loved her intensity, it really was making me question her sanity a little bit. That was a great turn.

I am left wondering how many people in the bunker are going to be left alive. I hope they find a way to show us some of that somehow. I guess they will talk about it.

I loved the “May we meet again” repetition. I always love that line. I loved Clarke saying “My fight is over” as a nod to her being willing to die and using grounder language in that moment.

I think the random girl that Clarke has with her is odd. She might be like 14 or so and Clarke has been taking care of her for 6 years? That is a lot for a character to take care of an 8 year old and all that and teach her or whatever was going on there. That felt random. The girl might just be a red shirt.

I still think it is a little crazy that the writers have wiped out all of their world building in one go. The world building is the best part of this show and it is gone and that is crazy to me. It really feels like a mistake right now. I don’t really like the idea of them fighting people with technology. I liked the like lord of the flies way of the show more then people with guns, but we will see where they go with it. It is possible that this ship of prisoners docked with the ring and that Bellamy and the others are on that ship as well. I do like the idea of the grounders and skaikru being the wonkru and going against these new prisoners with technology, but not for it to just be all about the technology now. We will see, i guess.

Good finale though. This season’s end was much better then the last one that sort of flopped to its death after killing Lexa and Lincoln.

Narnia has too much depth to be done by Ouat. There is too much great world building and like deep philosophical things going on to be done by Ouat. All those things are what is good about Narnia and what was wrong with the movies was a lot of that being left out and any hint to Narnia on Ouat would only be superficial like names and such, and therefore disappointing.

I am glad it is still under copyright, which is i think the life of the author plus 70 years. I think CS Lewis died the same day as JFK, so that gives us at least another 16 years of safety for Narnia before it can be ruined by other things and Ouat will safely be long gone by then.

Emma going through a wardrobe to another land was a nod to Narnia. I think Lucy was too, but they aren’t going to do Narnia.

The story with Jasper just dragged on for far too long.

Even if she’s legally allowed to talk about her true feelings regarding the show at this point since she’s no longer contracted with ABC/OUAT I doubt she (or any of the cast) would bite the hand that fed them. You have instances like Michael Socca and Sean Maguire who went a bit more in depth about how they felt on the show and what was done to their characters but they were also very political about it, said they’d work with A and E again (and Sean did!), ect. I suspect JMo would do the same. She’s a TV actress and if she gets a rep for disrespecting the work the show runners or network do…well, it’s a small town. That’s why her exit interview was carefully written (probably not actually by her) and her exit interviews stay very neutral in terms of any real feelings and instead hits several points over and over that sell herself as a grateful actor and praises the network/show/writers (she loved Emma, she loves the show, she’s grateful for the fans, she’s ready to move on personally and professionally…). It’s what Screwball Ninja said in the link Slurpeez posted a page back…PR and media PR at that is Kabuki theater, highly performative The only actor that I can see not caring about breaking ties is Bobby. If anyone has anything to say, it might be him.

I think that is right. She doesn’t want to get a reputation for saying bad things about the producers and writers and all that. I think that makes sense. The thing is i do think that she could say she didn’t really like this or that plot point and still say she enjoyed her time on the show and really enjoyed working with the producers and even say that she thinks they are great writers. She could say both things.

Instead she never says anything that she dislikes about things that happened on the show and that is why it feels dishonest. I think she goes too far towards the party line and i don’t think she needs to do that. I, personally, think that hurts her with the fans.

There is also a difference between saying i like acting this or that thing verses her liking that as an objective observer of the show. Jennifer isn’t an objective observer. This is her job and what is fun to act might have nothing to do with what she thinks is like a good quality storyline objectively as an observer. Especially since she doesn’t watch the show.

As long as the show is ongoing, i don’t think that Jennifer is going to say much more then she has because what she might say would impact the show and she probably doesn’t want to do that.

i think that regardless of the direction, as an actress she still liked to do something that was very different for Emma as a character. Becoming evil, getting married, stuff like that would still probably mean a lot since shes been playing this character for so many years. Also, I think the cast are all extremely great friends, I don’t expect her to hate Colin. They all always seem to have a lot of fun together at cons. (plus its not like she could voice if she was displeased with the CS stuff anyway)

Yeah, i agree. I think Jennifer getting to do something different with how boring and lacking of character growth this show has become for her. She actually got to do the research and act evil on screen which is interesting for her to act even if it didn’t pan out on the show in the end. Also, the musical was something really different to film.

I always wonder if it is a legal issue and Jennifer isn’t allowed to say what she thinks about the show. I don’t know enough about how that works to even speculate, but since she has agreed to come back for one episode and has a contract and could how she still talks about the show be part of that contract? What do i know.

I have never really agreed with the whole Jennifer is all over Colin at cons. Yeah, she stands next to him in pictures, but that is really it and we know that she is told to do that. Her touching his arm now and then is something people do and has never seemed excessive to me. She talks about Emma and Hook and because that is part of her job, but i think she generally laughs at it.

I think it makes a lot of sense that she might have stayed if she got producer credit, but i also really think she wanted so off the show. I actually think that Jennifer should be more honest about what she thinks about the show. Though it is a weird thing, the producers might be upset by her saying publicly that she didn’t like things on the show, but i really think the audience, especially her fans, would be a lot happier if she was honest. I am all for honesty from everyone.

The way the producers lie about stuff in an attempt to get people to believe things like they planned captain swan from the beginning or even to like hide future plots like saying that they aren’t going to add to the family tree is just completely ridiculous. I have no clue why they do that because it makes them look really bad, in my opinion.

It is this weird thing though where things that make the producers and the actors look bad the the industry and may effect whether or not they get work are in a lot of ways the opposite to the things that make the fandom of the show and the fans of a specific actor upset. Also, Jennifer being a woman i think effects all of that. Robert can say things like they shouldn’t have killed Neal and i don’t think it will effect him and his ability to work. If Jennifer talked about her issues about the show in public, it could effect her ability to get work.

I understand that decision, but i do wish she was slightly more obvious about having issues with the show for the people in the back who can’t hear what she is saying.

That is true. I think i was thinking that Abbey knew by the time of the vote that there wasn’t enough time for Raven to get back from the island bunker. She knew that Clarke was on the outside and that she thought she would rather not waste the space since she is dying from the brain thing and she would rather not be on the inside if Clarke was dead. I don’t know. I think i am just confused by that whole thing and not remember the order of information very well.

Yeah, but they are going into space, so how will they fix Abbey? Raven’s health seemed to fall apart quickly. I thought that Abbey thought she was dying and that was why she said that? She didn’t want to tell Kane that she was dying. Like i said, i might have missed that storyline because i don’t pay attention very well when they are all talking.

I agree it’s something that’s becoming the shape of a person. This seems fairly personal for Henry and I’m starting to wonder if it’s Lucy’s mother. After all, where is *she* during all this–especially if this is a flashforward as some think

But the thing is in the next scene doesn’t Tiger Lily say she’s going to take Lucy to her mother or something like that?

    Quote

Oh maybe? I honestly don’t remember. But that doesn’t mean the “thing” can’t be Lucy’s mother. It actually feels sorta OUAT-ish to have Lucy’s mom be the thing that’s out to destroy the EF, ect. Surprise! You’re mom is actually a dangerous dark entity.

Can they not? Can Lucy’s mother just be a new hero? Can they just introduce a new hero, already? I have had enough of the villains and that is all we have left now.

Yeah, i really wonder what they are going to do with Rumpel/Henry and Hook/Henry. Those characters don’t really have relationships. Neither Does Hook/Regina. I doubt very much they are going to have the old main characters sit in the background, as much as i might wish that, i don’t think that is going to happen.

Because of that, they really need to find something to do with those characters. If they are all cursed and have different memories for awhile and jobs and Henry is interacting with their cursed selves then that is one thing. Though, how long does that last?

It is all so weird now because i just don’t really have any clue what they are doing. It is not sustainable to just retread Season 1 exactly. At least we know that Henry will eventually end up in another realm.
