ParticipantI would have rather she was just a regular person. I hope that the mother can at least act like a regular person in some way. I think what i am asking is probably too much though. Adam and Eddy seem to have no clue how regular people behave. They don’t know how to write character development at all. Those are the things i want for the new characters and i am just not sure the writers can do that. None of the new characters after Season 1 were ever properly developed and we know they had a lot of help with Season 1.

ParticipantI think the idea that Henry wrote the book that Lucy was holding when she went to visit him makes a lot of sense. That could be why it had that weird white cover. It definitely wasn’t a storybook and we know that all the storybooks look the same. That means that there is probably something else going on here.
It is so weird because the guy in the first scene with the girl acts so different then the guy. I keep wondering if it is even the same person.

ParticipantYeah, maybe Henry is an author, like that writes books to publish. He writes a book about his experiences and the girl comes to find him and she says that because that is how his book began. Then her mother could be a regular person and so they would then have more regular people in the mix instead of all the way too magical people that have been.

ParticipantI don’t know, but the writers being all we want the fans to enjoy it before we say anything makes it seem like they are going to make a mess of that ending to me. They also just might not really know what they are going to do.

ParticipantThere is no way for the time jump to be only ten years and Henry to have a child that old. Unless they are suggesting that Henry had a child at 15 and if so then what in the world. It has to have been at least fifteen years.
Knowing this show, Adult!Henry is 28 when Lucy knocks on his door. And Lucy is about 10 which keeps with the parallels of Emma/Henry
I agree though i would rather that Henry was a little older when he had his first child then Emma was, but the writers probably won’t think about any of that. Just don’t make Henry have a child at fifteen.

ParticipantMaybe she isn’t really Henry’s daughter. It was weird to me how the scene was just exactly like the original scene with Emma and Henry.

ParticipantWait, so i think i am confused. There were two adult Henry scenes. Did the first one in the forest take place after the second scene where Lucy finds Henry in Seattle? Is that what you guys are meaning by flashforward?
I definitely think that it seems like they are saying that they are going to make a mess of a lot of the endings that happened this season for next season.

ParticipantAlso, of course, with the removal of Baelfire, they messed up the larger plot of the show. The big story with Rumpel/Belle and Snow/Charming and Emma and Regina and Baelfire and Henry. That show is still unfinished as well. That is sort of the big writing problem of the show that will always be left unfinished. So in that way, the story for all the characters is left unfinished. The minor characters stories were much easier to finish.
I totally get wanting Zelena to have magic and do more with her. I just think as her character was now and the danger she was to the town and the family at large, that just getting rid of that danger helped that problem for me. It might not do a lot for Zelena as a character, but it helped the main characters and removes the question of what about Zelena without having to spend a lot of time on some sort of redemption for her or just flipping a switch on her redemption which they do a lot on this show.

ParticipantBecause men can have babies and no know about them, whereas women are usually aware.
At least they are when they end up giving birth
I think Henry is probably cursed so he does not remember magic or the enchanted forest. My question is how did he get to the EF in the first place and why was her there?
Exactly. Emma gave birth so she knew about Henry, whereas Henry could get someone pregnant and she could leave and him not know.
I still think it is weird he would close the door in the girls face.
