ParticipantThe whole pretense that Regina is still the mayor and that that has any meaning is one of the dumbest world building things that is going on right now. Like why? That makes no sense at all. Is Regina seriously still doing paper work? It is just idiotic.

ParticipantIf they are going to lose Ginny and Josh and continue, then they will just try and continue on no matter what at this point. I think Adam and Eddy know that they are not getting another show after this.

ParticipantThat is just what it looks like. I hope that the characters get their memories back quickly, especially since some of them are leaving the show.

ParticipantThe alternate reality where the Black Fairy is the mayor. It is an alternate cursed Storybrooke from the looks of it.

ParticipantMaybe Henry will finally be someones undoing with the book. Rumpel needs to not be the dark one at the end of all this. Zelena lost her magic, so there is hope.

ParticipantThey aren’t going to do that. This is just an alternate reality thing. Though at this point Emma being crazy and this all being in her head would be a better ending then whatever they are going to give us.

ParticipantDo you think the Black Fairy and Gideon would have been as interesting had their characters’ arcs been stretched out all season? Don’t get me wrong. I really like Gideon, and I would have preferred to have seen more of his story with his parents and his savior dynamic with Emma. He is an original character, which means a lot could have been done with him. Plus, he is an interesting foil for Emma. (e.g. Both were given up for their best chances, both discovered their destiny on their 28th birthday, both have magic though one is dark and the other is light, etc…). The Black Fairy is interesting, too, though her story seems like it can be contained to a single episode. Sometimes characters’ arcs seem better than they are precisely because they’re written concisely and in the span of a few episodes rather than stretched out and diluted with “filler” episodes.
I don’t like Gideon. I don’t really like the actor either. I think he could have been interesting but he is just being controlled by the black fairy, so nothing that he has done or is doing is actually interesting at all.
It is the Black Fairy that should have come in, not Gideon. She should have known Hyde or been that bird that appeared to Emma when she met the oracle. There should have been some connection to Hyde and Jafar and the Black Fairy or the Blue Fairy. Hyde should have died quickly, in my opinion. That was right, but they then did nothing interesting. The split queen arc was boring and lasted too long and really nothing happened of that until the episode where the Evil Queen and Regina finally talked. The Snowing sleeping curse was boring and also lasted too long and nothing interesting came of it either.
I do agree that things last too long, but there needed to be a connection between all these things. I completely agree with the other poster that they have done nothing with the savior mythology at all except to say that there are multiple ones. That hasn’t even been discussed since early in the season in any way except Gideon wants to be the savior which makes no sense.
There are just no connections here. It is just a bunch of random elements with no coherent arc at all. It is bad. I thought the beginning of this season started of well with some open questioned, but the end has just been random boring nothing.

ParticipantIt is just so out of character. I always thought that Emma would just get married just in her street clothes like Snow and Charming did in the forest with just Lancelot and his mom there. Obviously Emma marrying Hook is out of character as well, but the way the wedding is also out of character. It seems out of character for Snow too who seems to be coming up with these ideas. I mean think of Snow’s wedding dress from their second wedding. It is a mess all around.

ParticipantDelayed reaction, but Lana’s response to that question about Hook was rough. Especially to the swan queen people. I saw people talking about it on tumblr, but that is the first time i had seen the actual response and it was worse then i thought.
Though, in content, i agree with her. Regina doesn’t like Hook. She never has, which is one of the reasons i don’t get how they keep Regina and Hook and not have Emma around. Though, we don’t know if that is going to happen. It is the same thing all the characters on the show say though. Snow, Charming, Regina, and Henry all want Emma to be happy. They don’t actually like Hook though. In my opinion and based on the fact that they often say they just want Emma to be happy.

ParticipantEmma locked up in some sort of psychiatric ward for the alternate reality. Are they going to have a fourth set of memories? How are they even sane at this point?
They aren’t i guess. That is why they all keep hanging out with the villains.
Emma Swan as Sarah Conner. Who is the Terminator? Hopefully, that will just be a visual joke.
