That was my other thought, price of magic. In my post, I was trying to say that she really didn’t want to, but felt pressured. We saw Regina in a wedding dress, so maybe they were married at the summer palace or went there afterwords. Didn’t the scene with Regina and her father take place on the grounds? Will have to have someone rewatch that.
[adrotate group="5"]hmverhagenParticipantMy first thought was that killing a unicorn is supposed to be VERY bad luck. I think I got the idea from Merlin. When it was shot, a huge famine insued. Wonder if there is anything to that in legend, etc.
hmverhagenParticipantI’m thinking that it may have had to do with interal struggle.
A) Cora told Regina that she made deals to get them out of poverty, so maybe Regina thought that if she went back to poverty, the deals that cost herself or her family were made for nothing.
B) She felt obligated to keep up the ruse in front of Snow White. Regina told Snow that she was going to marry her father because she didn’t love Daniel. If Regina didn’t keep up her end, then Snow might ask what really happend reguarding Daniel. If the truth was known, Cora and her heart reputation would come out to the King, and perhaps many others.
hmverhagenParticipantAnd then there is the Beauty and the Beast element. At the end of the Disney version, the Beast is attacked by a mob and fatally stabbed, but Belle heals him with her tears. Hmmm…I’m thinking dagger to the chest via Regina and True Love causing there to no longer BE a Dark One.
hmverhagenParticipantI like the way they are doing things now. Can you imagine what it would be like it they only showed Emma and Snow for a few episodes, and then showed them going back to a bunch of crazy outcomes that we didn’t get to see the situations behind. LOL. Not cool.
I’m really hoping we see more of the Blue Fairy, Seven Dwarfs, and Archie this season. I would love Blue Fairy and Dark One origins episodes!!! Knowing more about the Dark One would show us more re what Rumple is up against, and we know so little about the Origin Magic: the Blue Fairy. My one complaint about the show is that Blue doesn’t seem very powerful. Storming a castle with sparkly dust?! Really?!
hmverhagenParticipantI was trying to say that it seems like Hook is afraid that to much time will pass for him to get revenge on the croc. Whenever a clock showed itself in the Disney version, Hook’s afraid that he can’t kill the croc before it kills him, since it appears out of no where. Even though Rumple humiliated Hook instead, I can almost bet that Rumple would try to kill him next time they meet up. Hook probably feelings that the revenge he plots has to be devious enough that Hook won’t lose his own life in the process of inacting it.
hmverhagenParticipantInteresing point. Maybe Rumple didn’t know about the Holy Grail yet, and therefore didn’t tell Smee. There could be a rather large gap between when Hook left and Rumple met Belle, since Rumple says Rumple says he doesn’t know if he can move on.
hmverhagenParticipantYes, that would be epic. I have a feeling Catherine and Fred will be making an appearance as well. King Midas probably won’t be very pleased the Fred is no longer gold. My guess is that Fred found Catherine at the hospital.
hmverhagenParticipantPhee, very well said. Exactly what I was trying to say! Lol. Good to know that people are around that have my back.
hmverhagenParticipantYeah, maybe they weren’t talking about Grumpy’s axe. Grumpy’s name used to be Dreamy. Maybe Belle thinks that her dream of being in love with Gold will be strangled because of his reluctance to be with her.
