The Storybook has definitely been an oddity hanging in the wind, but now the book seems useless. I wonder if we will ever get any in-show explanation of where it came. Maybe we might get a one-off mention given by Rumpel or the BF to get a definitive answer to this question.
I can really only see four possible writers for the book:
* Biggest clues thus far point toward Blue Fairy and the “covenant” of fairies.
* Rumple might have written the book at some point before his capture by Cinderella, and like it eventually drifted into a collection of books that MM came upon.
* The Curse magically generated the book to ensure the break clause had a chance of success. It is rather strange how MM only noticed the book to give to Henry near the 28th year. Maybe the curse created it near this time and placed it in a location that MM might notice it.
* Some new character that has a lot of knowledge of FTL events or the book is somehow something that was being worked on/collected by the kingdom at large before or after the EQ’s threat.[adrotate group="5"]May 25, 2012 at 12:58 am in reply to: Did Mr. Gold remember who he was before Emma came to town? #147676icebladeParticipantWell it did see the future and rather than it being a self-fulling prophecy; it was a situation that would come to pass if Emma was sent to FTL. Also, the curse’s true-love breaker clause might have influenced Mr. Gold to pick Emma’s son to ensure that the curse had a chance of being broken.
Admittedly, I like the explanation that Mr. Gold knew all along and manipulative everything to work out… very simple explanation. Honestly, though, everyone including the BlueFairy probably thought that SW would get to SB when the curse consumed her.
icebladeParticipantThe last season never did make much sense to me, I just understood that they were all dead at the end and purgatory was in there somewhere.
icebladeParticipantHow about because he couldn’t get to the potion without a second elevator operator and fighting the dragon would be difficult with a limp and no doubt there are curse-related reasons with Emma being the only one who could kill the dragon.
icebladeParticipantAt the very last frame of the clock, the minute hand is at the mark that is aligned with center “I” of the number 3 (“III”)
icebladeParticipantShe probably didn’t want to run the risk of her and Gold having a connection and maybe Gold remembering. She probably also wasn’t trusting Rumpel to definitely not have some loophole for himself to remember. Might also be something in reserve just in-case something went wrong like they did.
icebladeParticipantIt may be that any kiss from Emma (being true love incarnate it seems) can be powerful enough to break the curse in a limited way at least under certain conditions. With Graham, the curse was weakening, and even though Emma didn’t believe, just being the key to breaking the curse made her kiss far more potent – enough to dispel the curse from Graham.
With Henry, the true love kiss was drastically more powerful because it was a true love kiss of mother to her child with both of them knowing about the curse combined with Emma being a true love incarnate and the key to breaking the curse in a more global.

Lmao at that picture. “Family Feud: Fairytale Edition”.
We surveyed 100 people and the top five answers are on the board to following question: Name a food not to accept from Evil Queens.
You know what, that would be awesome. Actually have a celebrity-like Family Feud only with the Once cast being in-character with the winnings going to a charity. Steve Harvey would probably have some real fun with it.
We surveyed 100 creatures and the top four answers are on the board: Who is the fairest in the land?
Prince Charming: Snow White (SNOW WHITE: 19)
Regina: Myself, of course. (THE EVIL QUEEN: 67)
Audience gasps, EQ gives one of her famous I Won smiles.icebladeParticipantReally with these guys, the rule is to expect the unexpected. I think the only think that can be guaranteed about the ending is that PC and SW will be together with probably Henry and maybe (very maybe) Emma in one form or another.
All other characters are probably fair game for less than truly happy endings. Then again, Lost did end as we thought it would; the island being purgatory.
icebladeParticipantActually, I don’t think it would have been too bad for them cause they would have been transferred to another Foster home before too long to avoid potential attachment issues. Of course they wouldn’t have bothered to keep Pinocchio and Emma together since I don’t get the impression that Pinocchio told the authorities that they were brother and sister to ensure they weren’t separated.
Although, honestly, I’m surprised Emma wasn’t rapidly adopted being a healthy newborn baby. it just doesn’t make sense that she would be left inside the Foster Care for any extended length of time.
