I would tell this to all of those people who say “Neal is dead and CS is canon, deal with it!” How would you feel if Hook is one who died? You would be just outrage as the Neal and Swanfire fan when Neal was the one who died! You would probably would be screaming at the producers and complaining a lot both on and offline. They would threatened to quit watching the show. There would be a bunch of fanfics about what if Hook lived and ended up with Emma and stuff.
Also some of those CS fans are downright brutal and immature. They sometimes gloat and rub their supposed victory on SF faces (also SQ fans but this is mostly about SF). They either ignore or refused to accept that their is problems with Hook, downplaying Hook’s flaws and problems and sometimes over exaggerate Neal’s flaws and problems in attempt to make Hook look good and Neal look bad.
Then again I wonder if we SF fans would end up like those immature/brutal CS fans if Hook was the one who died and Emma ended up with Neal…[adrotate group="5"]We will meet again, in another life...
I wonder if because of all the flack they get for their support of Neal/Emma relationship that made Adam and Eric changed their mind about what to do with their relationship…I am pretty sure there are other factors to it, but I wonder if it is one of the deciding factors.

imply that AH quote was about that poll? Because it… wasn’t. You can twist just about anything out of context. What he said they were “going for” was the poetry of the SF story. And congrats AH, you got about 3/4 of the way there!!I just was saying that poll, posted by a Hook fan judging by the username, was in response to AH answer about Neal/Emma’s relationship, that it actually sounded like he wanted Swanfire to happened at one point yet someone wanted to point out to him that apparently, Swanfire at one point was consider the worst couple ever, like they wanted to convince him to not think that way or something. Also I didn’t say the AH quote was about the poll, I said that the poll was posted in-response to AH quote.

At least we have fanfiction! It might not fully replace the tv show, but it is better than nothing!

All I hope at this point is that Neal gets maybe a cameo in the series finale.

Hopefully the writers will do a slightly better job next season or they will lose some of the fans that were put-off by their current story-telling permanently.
