Mhm…so the “respectful” Neal-dislikers are trolling here as well? 🙄 Whatever.
So what you are saying is if someone likes Hook they can’t possibly like Neal too? That is just crazy! I’m not sure you could have been ruder.
[adrotate group="5"]jasperannParticipantI hope they show how Hook and the Giant part ways after he is unlocked. He had the Giant’s bean and I’m not sure how he would have gotten that without killing the Giant which he obviously didn’t do. That was the Giant’s bean right? Or maybe it was a different one but I thought he used the one he kept from Rumple.
Anyone else see Charming choking Hook? Can’t wait to see that too.
Rumple looks kinda like he wasn’t steady on his feet going through airport security.. I think the theory of him forgetting when he doesn’t have the shawl on is most likely right.
3 weeks are going to drag on. 😥

I loved this episode for many reasons.
1) love all the nods to Star Wars. From the ringtone of Greg’s cellphone, to the star on his charger to the hospital room # R2 42 being R2 D2.
2) With Leroy and Dr. Whale considering the alternative, it just showed how vulnerable they were when it came to dealing with the real world. Leroy showed fear and Dr. Whale showed he was despondent and uninterested in what lay ahead. Let him die, save him, who cares type of attitude.
3) We see Dr. Whale torn away from his family, wanting to go home and find a remedy for his brother but feeling that all is lost. I especially loved how he and Ruby ended up bonding and found her line “I ate my boyfriend” comical.
4) I thought Belle was great as an amnesia victim. Her confusion and fear were certainly showing.
5) Robert Carlyle was superb showing Rumples vulnerabilities and pain when it comes to Belle and how it translate to anger and frustration towards the rest of the townfolk.
6) That kiss between Cora and Rumple. Did you see his face? LOL! Jane Espenson said it was like he was staring at a giant tumor! 😆
7) Cora and Reggie. Great scenes! Not sure how far Reggie will go but hopefully will stop in the nick of time.
8) Greg on the phone. I could almost hear the theme to Jaws…………going to get really interesting with an outsider there. Will they catch on that he knows and will they let him leave? Or will he decide to stay and do some snooping around?
All in all, I enjoyed it. I loved how they wrapped the Frankenstein story into things. Makes it easier for other stories from other worlds and books to come in the future. I especially love how they have Henry addressing the whole “but Frankenstein isn’t in the book?”” How many times have we heard that over the last few months. I guess they’ve let us know, in no uncertain terms, it’s about STORY BOOK characters and not just fairy tales.
Hmmm…..very tired and not sure whether I’ll look at this in the morning and say to myself “what the heck did you write!!! 😆 Please excuse the spelling as well:) Nite all.
I have to say that I agree!! I think the only part that I really didn’t care for was the black and white parts… although I really felt for Dr. Whales brother how sad.
Other things that I really liked were Hook still finding it in him to flirt with Emma while laying on the ground and just being hit by a car. I thought Emma’s reactions were perfect, she looked at him like he was a crazy person. 😆
Then Emma at the hospital when they were bringing them in and she is like “find a room and hide him!” that was great! I know she said it because Rumple would have killed him if he wasn’t hidden, but really how big is the hospital?!?! Someone on a rage would have be able to find someone in a hospital if they really wanted too.
The thing that has me thinking this morning though is the very end. Rumple first said that if he stays any longer that he would Kill Hook… now if Emma or the Charmings do not CARE if Hook is alive or dead how would that be a good threat? The look on Emma’s face when he says it reveals that she feels SOMETHING (not exactly sure what). Then he threatens to kill the whole family if something happens to Belle while he is gone. Why is he leaving??? She was just shot and doesn’t remember him, why would he just give up on his ‘true love’? Yes I understand he needs to find his son, but he has waited so long (hundreds of years), what is a few more weeks? Especially since he knows there is a possible huge threat to her in the same hospital as her right now. It just doesn’t sit well for me. It is like he is saying I know she is in danger, but I’m going to leave anyways and if she happens to die while I am gone, that is okay I will just kill this whole family and it will make it better… Seriously?!?!
😆 I guess the last five minutes brought up a lot of questions for me… I didn’t realize I need to vent until I started typing. 😆
jasperannParticipantThanks BellaRose!! I have read lots of funny/friendly posts. I was kinda scared to admit that I love Hook though! Especially because of what he did to Belle. Which was crappy, but he could have killed her a couple of times and he didn’t. So like he said hurting Belle was just a by product of hurting Rumple. I also love those two together too and last nights episode broke my heart. But I have hope!!

Nice to see so many CaptainSwan shippers being classy and respectful. 🙄
I’m a CaptianSwan shipper, but I am also looking forward to Neal’s character. You can’t have a love triangle with out three points right?!?! 😆 I think I just love the drama actually. But I really do enjoy Hook’s character. I think that it will be the same for Neal’s. Let alone the fact that I love MRJ’s acting. I just wanted to make it known that just because someone does ship one couple doesn’t mean they can’t also like another. Ya know? I know that some shippers really have strong opinions and feel that certain characters threaten their ship… I think it would be boring with out some competition so bring on Neal!! 😆

They really need to make Neal a regular. MRJ is awesome, and his character is pretty darned important. Hope we see lots more of him!
I agree. If he really is Baelfire, then he’s going to become vital to the main plot.
Even if he is just Henry’s dad he would be a vital part of the main story. I can see so many things unfolding just between him and Emma and Emma and Henry because of him showing up. After all Emma did tell Henry her Dad was dead… I can only imagine how Henry is going to react to finding out she lied to him. 😮 I personally can’t wait!!

Great idea. I have once suggest that she would hide in the ball of his son.
The only problem I have that i REALLY don’t want them together (not even in the past), but Jane wrote that episode, so I am a little scared for my Rumbelle heart. She was the one, who gave it to me at 1.12. Maybe she will try to break it more in 2.12. 🙁
I think Jane likes Rumbelle together so if she did break them up I think it would be temporary. I would personally like to see him try to win her over, instead of the way it has been with her pleading with him to be good. He could instead be good because he wants her to know him as good, since she has no memory right now. Then they could fall in love all over again.
jasperannParticipantThank you!! I’m happy to be here!

Oh I agree. With Belle, it was just him using her to get back at Rumpelstiltskin. He was a bit in her personal space and he did sort of use his physical appeal in a way, but not in the way that he normally does with Emma. The way he was with her was more threatening than flirty.
He sort of bested Emma and Belle I guess…with Belle is was him erasing her memories I guess. With Emma it is a bit harder–yeah he sided back with Cora after she left him, but then she knocked him out cold. 🙂
I will admit that I do like there scenes togehter–I don’t ship them, but I am interested in how they both talk to one another. The actors have a great way of being able to show both wariness and some form of common ground.
They’re trying not to reveal too much of themselves when they’re talking, right? Like they’re afraid to show their true selves. That’s why Emma is trying to shrug everything off.
Join the ship! It’s more complex than Snow and Charming.
This is how I feel about Emma and Hook too! Even my Hubby says Hook likes her and she seems to like him too. But then I was one of the first people to ship Eric and Sookie from True Blood too, so it isn’t unusually that I ship someone that seems to rub some people the wrong way. 😆
In the sneak peek I took her small smile at the end as a regretful smile, that she knew that she couldn’t help him. But then I guess that is what shippers like me do, read into things… 😆
