I think the way they phrased it was so extremely important – “I have no intention of letting you down”. It may happen – no one’s perfect, but he’s going to try his hardest to never let it happen and never intentionally do it. I think, for someone like Emma, who’s been let down so much, this is far more poignant than someone telling her “I’m never going to let you down”. She’s been let down too many times to know when someone says that, there’s no way they’re going to just prove themselves wrong.

You’ve definitely got me curious to see how it turns out and I like what you’ve done with the king and Emma’s dilemma…although that news in the last chapter! If my husband dropped that bomb on me after the wedding….yikes! I’m looking forward to the next chapter to see what unfolds…
I agree with you MP, it has always been my understanding they were capable of communicating outside of Storybrooke during the curses. When Emma and Henry returned in 3B, Henry was using his phone – if he was going to do pretty much anything on a phone, he’d need access to the internet in some form… If Robin’s been in the ‘real world,’ especially New York, for 6 weeks, he knows how to get his hands on a cell phone. Throw a rock and you’ll find a hole in the wall to buy a burner phone at the very least. So I think Emma’s question and Regina’s response was (heartbreakingly) valid.
I’m glad Regina was in full sass mode in that 2nd sneak peek….it’s one of my favorite things about her. I know most people have a love it or hate it attitude toward Emma and Regina bonding, but I’m looking forward to Henry and his two moms having working on the same project together, finally.
Cruella….still not really feeling her, but that might be because the whole 101 Dalmations thing seriously creeped me out. The ‘breathing her pups into submission thing’ was a new level of weird – has she been magical in other versions of her story?
Ohhhh, Dark!Emma….I like it…and I always love Dark One Rumple, so I hope that wasn’t a flashback (sorry, not sorry. 🙂 ) I know some are a little ‘meh’ going into the 2nd half of the season but I’m looking forward to it…
Yeah, I definitely don’t think it’s Hook putting Belle & Will together…when I think revenge I don’t think I’m gonna get your wife to play kissyface with some other dude, I think where’s my gun? I think Hook’s revenge, will be centered around the dagger we heard Belle might give him – Hook will be able to control Rumple similar to the way Rumple controlled Hook in 4A…
I never watched WL, so I can’t say I’m attached in any way to Ana and Will…so perhaps he is a poor choice but I do think it would be interesting if Belle, as part of a confirmed TL couple, tried to move on and use that as a jumping off point for reconciliation. They sort of did it with Snowing, but not really, since they were still under the curse in S1. I’m comfortable with thinking there will be a reconciliation, but there’s a lot of work for Rumbelle to get there.
Saw the pics from the other week with Ginny – she’s looking fantastic and I hope they get her away from the ‘am I a nanny or a nun’ look they seemed to be so fond of in 4A. And good for her – anyone who’s had a kid, especially in their 30s, knows it takes a TON of work to get your body back. I hate that people gave her crap about the baby weight – and that the wardrobe dept apparently had no idea how to dress her post-baby.
Maybe this was brought up but I read back a few pages…couldn’t the whole Will and Belle thing just be some kind of ruse? Maybe something along the lines of trying to trick Rumple into thinking she’s moved on if she’s not ready to just forgive & forget? Juvenile but when have they shied away from juvenile before?
Favorite EF outfit
Too many to choose! I love the FTL outfits far better than Storybrooke and I think they fit the characters far better than the Storybrooke clothing (although I suppose to a point, that’s intended). I think though that overall, Snow’s bandit outfits are my favorite. I love her 1st wedding outfit – how very apropos for her character. Neal working the FTL gear when they first returned is a close 2nd though. I thought they did an excellent job putting him back into attire he would’ve worn had he never left the EF, and MRJ owned that outfit.
Favorite Storybrooke Outfit
I am way too lazy to go looking for pics, but luckily there’s a few of my favs already on this page!
I love Belle’s blue lacy dress that Keb posted and Regina’s (also blue) dress that WR posted…I think these are great examples of iconic outfits for these particular characters. I really liked MM’s S1 wardrobe. You know, before they turned her into a frumpy grandma.
I don’t think it’s Lily just because I think the audience made more out of the character than was intended. Not young Mal either…I don’t think Kristin looks particularly young but Agnes still seems a little old to be brought in for Mal. Maybe Cruella…

Hookriel (sorry RG…) I just think it’s too obvious. Other than the whole sailor/mermaid thing I don’t really see anything that would attract on to the other…
Also agree with pretty much everyone else’s thoughts re:SwanQueen. I like seeing them try to co-parent Henry because each brings very different things to the table…but how do you fall in love with the woman that’s tried to kill your mother, your father…YOU…and succeeded in separating you from them for the first 28 years of your life? Gotta be one…forgiving…person to let go of all of that…
