Ok, I had to post this from Tumblr because it did make me laugh. And is my exact thoughts on Emma dating life in 3B.

Cause Emma’s allowed to want a boyfriend??? Cause it is just an added layer of reality to her character??? That she wants a father figure for Henry??? Like I have literally not reason to feel ill towards the whole thing. I even like Walsh more than Neal even though I know he’s going to be a flying monkey.

Hehe, flying monkey. Seriously, I will be so upset if they don’t make Walsh a flying monkey. I can’t even look at pics of him anymore without thinking ‘monkey’.
I don’t necessarily think Emma’s words are going to haunt her, whether Neal does or doesn’t die, or she is or isn’t with Hook (or anyone else). The fact of the matter is, she was telling Neal the exact truth – if he died, it would’ve been easier to move on. Ultimately, she’s going to have to deal with her past whether anyone is dead or alive. That’s what it means to be an adult.
Dead or alive, Neal still hurt her. Badly. Badly enough that she kept that hurt bottled up in her for 11 years. That’s a lot of hurt. I think it started to thaw when she met Henry, because she could see that good came from the relationship.
I think we’re going to see, when Emma has a set of ‘real’ and ‘fake’ memories, is she realizes how much she missed out on Henry’s life – the person that means the most to her. I’m betting her memories of keeping Henry have already helped her heal from her relationship with Neal. She’ll be sad if he does die, but I don’t think her words are going to make her grieve any more.
Romantic love pales in comparison to the love one has for their child. It just does. This, even if fake, probably got Emma to a point in her life where she can be with other people romantically, and ultimately, not have that pain she had in 3A when it came to Neal. She can love him as the father of her child, but what’s done is done. She’s going to regain her memories, but I don’t think she’s going to lose the strength she feels she got from raising Henry. Emma will undoubtedly be in a very different place in 3B, and I think very little about her past is going to have as much of an impact on her as it did before she lost her memories, simply because she knows what it would have been like to fill the void that giving up Henry, not losing Neal, caused.
Sounds to me more like they are trying to parallel when Neal received the “Broken” message and chose NOT to do anything about it. Hook will get a message and even though he may have been warned just like Neal by Snow (and previously by August) that it is better to leave Emma alone, Hook will make the right decision and go get her. The interesting plot twist would be if he is being set up.
Ohh, I like that one! Ok, I’ll accept that. It was oddly worded so I can understand the ambiguity and reading what you want to read into it but there’s simply no way at this point Hook would intentionally do something to hurt Emma. And I can’t imagine what WW or anyone else would have that would even make Hook pause. If he didn’t take Pan’s deal in 3×5 and he told everyone where Neal was in 3×6 and HELPED Neal in 3×6 and risked his life in 3×11…for Emma…what’s someone going to tempt him with? Riches? He’s got it. Power? He’s captain of his own ship, and I don’t ever remember “World Domination” being on his to-do list. All he wants is Emma. (Getting there!) Acceptance (Won over Daddy Charming!) Family/Sense of Belonging (Hook and Henry are bonding – THAT part of the article wasn’t ambiguous!!)

I’ve already seen the “Hook’s working for the WW!” stuff….yeah I didn’t get that from the article. IF – and that’s the hugest if ever – he is, than by extension the article is saying he’s being duped. Way different than he switches sides folks.
Re-watching Good Form…seriously, how do you watch this epi and still think that Hook is actually evil? Or capable of doing the WW’s dirty work? How do you not get it?! I need it to be a week from now. Like immediately.

I’m re-watching S2 and just finished Queen of Hearts. After 3A, the scene with Emma and Hook in the cell is almost heartbreaking! His face, how angry & betrayed he is, is awesome. I don’t know, Ems, I love her but I do think she actually set Hook back a few paces when she left him chained and alone and 2×6.
With all of the stuff we’re seeing lately about who’s filming, who’s not, who’s filming with whom, etc, I’m starting to wonder if it is Belle and not Neal who’s going to die. In the comfort of our little thread, I will say, I’m probably least invested in Belle, and I think between her and Neal (the most likely two options for the death, I believe), Neal’s story is the more compelling one. While I don’t think he’s a viable romantic interest for Emma, his story with his father, and how that mirrors both Rumple and Malcolm’s story and Neal’s story with Henry, could be a very interesting storyline. And I don’t hate Neal. If I had to choose between all of the characters, the one I’m least interested in seeing more of, unfortunately, is Belle’s. So I do think MRJ could still be filming, and probably has been with Bobby, I think our little couple is safe, even if he does contemplate for a few moments to get off his hiney and ‘fight’ for Emma. And I do think it’s important that they show just because they’re not together romantically, they can co-parent their child, and they can love each other on some level, while still finding true love with others. 🙂 ONE MORE WEEK!!!!
I know you’re worried @betsypaige24, and others, because we haven’t seen MRJ, Emilie or Bobby too much. I know that’s hard to hear… but remember, just because paps and fans don’t see something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. In fact, as noted above, just because paps and fans (and PAs) THINK they saw something, doesn’t mean they’re right. Direct spoilers from the media can even be wrong because they’re interpreted incorrectly or because whatever is being said is meant to misdirect you so what the actual story is stays a surprise.
The actors do tons of studio work. Paps, fans aren’t going to be allowed there. Even when media “visits” the set doesn’t mean they get free reign of the place. There are closed outside locations. If the crew doesn’t want you to get very close, you’re NOT going to get that close. They also shoot way more than actually ends up in the show so just because someone is ABSOLUTELY SURE WITHOUT A DOUBT, MAKE NO MISTAKE!!! about what they saw/heard, doesn’t mean that tiny little piece they’re witnessing doesn’t end up “on the editing room floor”.
Ultimately, what have we REALLY seen? Some of the actors standing around outside. What have we ACTUALLY heard (ok, other than the spoiler-of-death)? Shocker, the WW is related to someone – EVERYONE’S RELATED TO EVERYONE ON THIS SHOW! She’s really wicked! and so on. What they really give us is so totally vague really, more often than not, we as the fans read so much more into the tiny snippets we’ve been given than what we ACTUALLY were presented with.
So that’s my two cents. I just see so many people getting depressed and disappointed about what may or may not be happening and who is and isn’t doing what – we simply don’t know. It saddens me to see others saddened about what they are or are not seeing. We all have our favorite characters, ‘ships, headcannons…but ultimately all we can really do is sit back and enjoy the story, whatever it may be. (And then we go read fanfic and make gifs and post pics to suit what we want!! 🙂 ) So don’t let yourself get sad or disappointed already – OUAT is back in 8 days!!!!
