so glad to see everyone.
There’s been some talk about how CS can’t be True Love now since the kiss didn’t break the Dark One curse,
I might be in the minority, but I do not think of being the Dark One a Curse? And if not, then it stands to reason that the TLK would not work.
Just on a side note, I am a massive fan of the Hook/Belle friendship. There’s just something about those two that I like and it could be the fact that she calls him Killian. She sees the man and not the villain who in his desperation had tried to kill her.

Also, I LOVED that Killian didn’t stay with Emma after the kiss. I think that’s such a great illustration of how much his character has grown (Season 2 Hook would have stayed, I’m pretty sure).
YES! He wants Emma and her love, not the Dark One and her lust! He’s in it for the ‘long haul.’

So after an extremely hectic and crazy couple of months littered with a slew of rotten days I pop in today and see this. my frown is a big a** grin now. I look silly at my desk – my smile is stuck. I had brought this up once too. So in the book Hook’s name is not given but he is called James – which means supplanter… which they wouldnt want to use because Hook “took” Milah from Rumple and Emma from Bae. (charming’s brother could have been named anything)
But I just couldnt figure out why in the world A&E would have chosen Killian ( Church ) for him.You’r post make so much sense and sounds like that is exactly why A&E picked the name ‘Killian.’ Now I feel dopey that I couldnt put 2 and 2 together.

This little moment is so beautiful. Look at his eyes.
She kisses him and for a brief moment he watches her. He needs that tiny moment more to realise and accept that it’s happening. The women he loves, who he would go to the end of the world and time for, has opened her heart to him. He promised to win her heart without trickery and that’s exactly what he’s done. It’s real, it’s happening and so he closes his eyes and loses himself in the moment.

I noticed it from the 2nd time I rewatched, but was on to big of a buzz to really ‘think’ about it much.
I know – I thought oooohhh how cute when i watched it and it went right out of my head. its is a great scene. It would have been adorable if he told her she was rushing things a bit and gave her a wink. heheh

Yes – I agree. Not that he had to give it or Emma needed it… but it is nice to know that is what he was thinking / feeling – that he wanted Emma to find her ‘home’ and ‘happiness’… that he was thinking of Emma.
