Obisgirl – I was never good in statistics… but anything that says a positive increase seems okie dokie in my book.
[adrotate group="5"]anyone check the ratings? the chat is saying that Hook centric episodes tank the ratings. I dont know the stats but that seem really off to me… anyone follow those type of things or is a Nelson family and gets feedback?
Even in his dress clothes Hook has that V… I wonder if Colin ( very white boy that he is ) gets a giant V Tan line… like drivers do on their driving arm. lol Maybe all that chest hair acts like sunscreen. hahahah
I LOVE THAT POM… I might really squeal out loud if that happens. I can see Hook blushing – because he would be on his knee in a second … that is if Emma wasnt stuttering so badly trying to explain…

I have been annoyed with Emma after other episodes – after her snark… but not this week. She is so beyond it now it is moving into denial. she has some major mental stress going on here and she’s just sticking her head in the sand, lashing out, and just not being rational. so, i’m ok with her attitude this past week… let me rephrase it… i’m not ok with it but I understand how desperation is driving her to it. She is losing control of everything…
There is a difference between leading with your heart and only thinking with it… sometimes love is not enough to get past some practical things or differences. We have the benefit of knowing they are TL. Belle knows and believes in it and we all have the feeling that somewhere in the missing year it was confirmed for Hook… so of course they are more understanding and forgiving…but if it was the real world without fairy dust confirmation I would tell my son or daughter that they do not deserve such treatment and if the one that they love cannot see their worth they have to decide where their line is. Of course you have to work at love … its not easy and shouldnt be given up on without effort… but Belle and Hook should really start to think where that line is. They should have some dignity and self worth and they are not treated with either by Rumple or Emma IMO. Sometimes the practical puts up big barriers – how much abuse should one side endure to get over it?
I agree Callmelola… its like Season 1 … she had magic inside of her – but didnt believe it, so it was not accessible. And once the threat to her brother is gone – she was just too happy to be magic free. I too think its there… she just wants to put blinders on and hope, pray, wish its gone.
I feel so bad for Hook while she is being so mean and keeps telling him about NYC… because not for nothing, Hook could go with her. But she not only wants to leave SB, she wants to leave him in SB – the place that is not his land or home, is far advance compared to his comfort level, contains his bitter enemy that he gave up his revenge against for her, is a port town in which he has no ship and he has no way to leave the land without magic – which he didnt leave when he had the chance with the bean and came back to after the missing year to help save her family. That’s just rough
Now if it wasnt cannon for TL Rumbelle and pretty darn close to it for CS – we would all think Hook and Belle are the most stupid people in the world and if we were family or friends we would have told them to kick Emma and Rumple to the curb and go find another. Seriously how much abuse can two people get in the matter of the heart. If Regina plucked them out they would probably be cracked and black and blue.

”Thing I find funny about Emma still using this as an excuse… she passed Henry off on a bunch of babysitters while keeping him ignorant of the situation… which was the most dangerous thing. Walsh could have strolled into town with a song and dance and Henry would have hopped right into the car with him and been gone. Plus while Hook was overstepping I can see were desperation and the unsaid authority he had as Henry’s protector / babysitter. I have to give my Nanny a certain amount of trust and authority when it comes to the kids. She is there and I’m not and I’m too far away in an emergency situation. So yes – Hook was so wrong… but Emma needs to stop using it as an excuse. She wants honesty and transparency from everyone and doesn’t give anyone the same respect. Only Hook really gets the whole story and she is only forthcoming as a way to be hurtful. So tell him he screwed up, but stop using it as a bullet point on your list of why SB is the new Sunnydale.
One of you ladies was saying how delusional they are making Emma. They are really doing a good job of showing her spiraling out of control. All these factors are out of her control and she is not handling it well at all. and that link that Callmelola posted was great. The comparison of Regina and Emma and how they are moving toward total opposite points really was great.
Soooo I cannot wait until Hook follows Emma through and she looks so shocked and says ‘you followed me” and he tells her ‘are you surprised.’ of course our girl is going to have some nasty snark and at that point I think Hook should say – Hey I know the lay of the land, its my way or the toll bridge highway. be nice or be quiet. serving as a bucket of cold water in emma’s face they stroll along and have a grand adventure, slowing working towards ep 22 and hopefully our big pay off.
I’ know … now i’m the delusional one.
so i read some people saying that maybe Hook recognized Emma when they tied him to a tree… and i started thinking back to those episodes. lol – on top of the Beanstalk when Emma pulls him back from the trip wire he holds her and tells her ‘about bloody time.’ hahaha. That hook though a day trip was too long to wait for the damsel to throw herself at him. lol – little does he know the ‘long haul’ he is in for.
