I hear ya surayya… my husband watched this week with me… i was a little embarrassed of the splitting of the heart scene. I felt like my creditability was zil… I’m always telling him to give it a chance that it’s a great show. I don’t think he will believe me after that.
Yes I was pretty annoyed with the scene where Emma is telling hook that she should have had the right to decide? hook was darned if he did and obviously darned when he didnt. He tried to solve the problem and keep Henry safe and got I don’t trust you for your effort. and charming totally threw his buddy under the bus. Oh back to Emma. she had Henry for a year. regardless of Regina as a mother Emma was going to make all those decisions too and not confer or even share her plan. She’s a little hypocritical. Hook could have just walked away. He doesn’t need to be there in the cross fire and risking his life… but he does it because they are his family… yet they all turned on him. It’s black and white when they want to judge but grey when convenient.
Loved the TLK with Regina and Henry.
creeped out when WW was stroking snows belly
Liked Neal taking over to send the bird which by the way how did that work? LOL I know Hook is infamous but to a pigeon. Haha
Poor hook … Colin never struck me a very tall but the poor man looked really compressed in that trunk.
As usual loved grumpy… not otherwise known as stupid dwarf. Hahaha
Poor hook. He is one dedicated SOB for sticking around that bunch…
[adrotate group="5"]jenvenParticipant
did anyone notice on peek 2 that belle wasn’t frozen and seems guilty and embarrassed? maybe zelena did catch up to belle that nice that they brought back the DO
jenvenParticipantI agreed with you Rumplegoldfan and surayya … I’m sure if push came to shove Hook would love to swap out for a hand… but I do like the bad boy aspect of captain hook and thst us part of him / his past. But isn’t his hand on gold’s shop? I guess A&E have it there so they can can rumple give it back and they can bury the hachet… and not in each other.
Ellemo78 that was my favorite scene… like he was going to put his hand on the small of her back to guide her out. so why would he feel so comfortable doing that? they really are such a couple already. Giddy giggling.
Our poor pirate really Is in a bad mood huh? And he is drinking again. I do love how happy Emma is though and that she and hook are always together.
Love the Regina scenes tonight and her and snow coming to terms with their pasts together.
jenvenParticipantWhere do you think Hook would take Emma on an official date?
But wouldn’t going sailing on a boat that isn’t the JR be bittersweet??? I’d like to see Hook try to do something that’s totally out of his comfort zone. Haha, like a movie. Can you see him in a big budget action thriller with the sound blasting?? He’d probably be hiding under his seat half the time. In all seriousness though, how great would a scene like that be? To see them in a moment of quiet, just getting to be normal for a few moments…and see how awkward it inevitably would be.
true true but figuring he is old school and Emma isn’t just a fling so he would do what he knows and court her. he probably can’t find a horse and carriage. lol. Hook at the movies would be cute. See if the yawn stretch is timeless and just a guy thong forever. But now if we are talking modern dates I would love to see him bowling. Hahaha
jenvenParticipantI agree… i don’t think Henry will have the whole ‘ your not my dad attitude. ‘ hook has not tried to be neal and as such the fun stuff is what’s left. aAs POM said that Hook should gave to deal with the hard stuff too… i get that… If he was Henry ‘ step dad he would have to step up and help with all paternal responsibilities. but right now Hook is just the cool family friend who is fun and informative and supportive. RRight now Hook has no right to deal with the ‘hard stuff’ he has no right to parent Henry… yet. I think Rumple gold fan has a good point… i never talked to my mom about boys it just wasn’t comfortable but I could and do still talk to my aunt. I think for the same reasons. she is a mom just not mine. I could get maternal advice without the awkwardness if seeing her everyday.
jenvenParticipantUnfortunately for Henry any girl he EVER brings home is going to be thinking NOTHING but “All the men in your family are HOT!!” Like seriously, can you even imagine? ”Alice I would like you to meet my step fathers Killian and Robin, and my grandfathers Charming and Rumple.” *Alice wipes the drool from her chin*
ha ha ha ha – wiping the tears from my eyes. so true. I can just imagine all those girls coming to call on Henry.
I guess he will get quite the ‘education’ when you have the older girls hitting on him trying to work a family dinner invitation. Speaking of which I wouldnt mind Thanksgiving at that house…

callmeLola wrote:Question: why do they even bother putting a shirt on Hook? I know right- I’m hoping we eventually get a reverse scene of Killy & Emma in bed, but her parents walk in on them- time for them to have Emma “provide them a few traumatic parenthood experiences” lol Fingers crossed that they’ll actually go there
I would love to see this. Especially MM face when she finds her daughter in bed with Captain Hook and her eyes bugging out when she realizes he still has said Hook on. OMG LOL
jenvenParticipantso I was thinking that Emma really needs to tell Henry what’s what. I just realized that Walsh is in town. What is keeping him ( Walsh – not Monkey Man ) from going up to Henry saying that he followed Emma because he loves her and cannot let her go. That he wants Henry to help him get flowers and pick a romantic restaurant etc … then Henry knap him!
jenvenParticipantKillian for a gazillion different reasons. Not that I don’t think Charming would give good advice but going to Grandpa for girl advice just seems strange and I think Charming would end up having difficulty figuring out more modern dating practices. As for Killy, he’s becoming Henry’s father figure but he’s not his actual father so that is a comfortable person to go to. Trust me, I’m a stepmom – I always get the girl questions. Plus he isn’t too squeaky clean – he comes from a time when men where gentleman and courted a lady but he was still a pirate so he knows what’s what and Henry can be honest with him without getting preached at. Plus Killian has an incredible depth of unwavering faithfulness when it comes to the women he loves so I think he would give really GOOD advice, he’s not going to tell him to screw around (not that Charming would either). He’s been hurt a lot so he can relate when a girl breaks Henry’s heart and help him through that. Plus he can teach Henry to smoulder.
a lot of great points…. my favorite – the smolder. 🙂
jenvenParticipantCheating at dice and driving are useful skills and all, but I’d like to know who you all think Henry would go to for advice on girls, David or Killian? I personally can’t decide between the two.
I would think Henry would go to Hook. Except for the driving lessons Henry thinks the Charmings are boring. Plus I’m sure Henry can see that Hook and his mom practically live in the same physical 4 foot square… they share the same breath. if anyone can get his mom doing stuff like that MUST have some charm and way with the ladies. on a sidenote I would love Henry to ask his mom if Killian is the reason she turned Walsh down. Henry is pretty observant and I’m sure he can see the way the two of them are around each other. Killian shows up and Walsh got the boot.
