magic bean– The only things I can think of are his “friendship” with Emma and his helping her with the beanstalk thing, and perhaps his love for Milah (which we haven’t seen much of). Do you think his relationship with Emma will be his redemption? I could see that in a way, but I feel like the character would need more back story before that would happen realistically. I mean, we didn’t feel for Rumple really until we knew about his son Bae and his love for Belle, so maybe there will be some sort of episode giving him something along those lines. I seem to agree that Hook is for Hook and no one else, and wants nothing more than to destroy Rumple.
[adrotate group="5"]While I sympathize with Hook and his loss of Milah, I have yet to see any sort of redeeming quality in him that would get me to root for him as a character. I mean, if nothing else, Rumple and Regina love their kids, while Cora and Hook seem to only care about their own means to an end. It would be interesting to see Hook make a switch, but I don’t see myself rooting for him.
