When I said that they had planned CS since Season 1, I didnt mean that it was stated. In a season 2 episode, there was Hook’s hand in Rumples’ castle. This means that they planned to bring in Hook from the beginning. Now I believe that when they planned to bring in Hook, they also planned to put him with Emma – Hook’s story is similar to Emma (heart ripping out, trust issues etc.). They had wanted to put Emma with Hook since the beginning (they couldnt get the rights of Hook). This is why I believe that they had planned it since season 1.

Yes, this is your opinion and you are free to show it. However I don’t understand why people go on the Captain Swan thread and say they don’t like CS, or say it’s never going to happen. If you were asking why we ‘ship’ CS, then that would be different. You say you would probably get ‘some major lashing’ over this, so if you don’t want that then don’t say it on the CS thread. I don’t go on other threads and say CS is going to happen, I only say it on this thread so people don’t get offended, or fights don’t start etc. So (I can’t speak for everyone) I hope this thread will be a place where we can share photos and over the top theories 😆 and not get people raining on our parade.
Anyway, the more people who say CS will never happen and tell CS fans they’re just dreaming just convinces me even more that it’s going to happen. To me, it just shows that other ‘ships’ feel threatend.

I suggest that you keep on watching. Things are about to turn around for Hook and Emma, and you may begin to ‘ship’ CS with us 😀

I don’t think they would kill off Neal quite yet for several reasons:

1. Rumple- The whole point of the curse was for Rumple to be able to find Bae. Rumple has had a lot to deal with this season- Belle’s amnesia, actually finding Bae, nearly dying, finding out that he’s Henry’s grandfather, dealing with the fact that Henry is supposed to be his undoing. To have Bae then die this season would be a little too much drama for one guy to have to deal with in a single season.

2. Emma- Having Neal back in Emma’s life complicates things for her. The only guy Emma loved comes crashing back into her life and it scares her a liitle bit. She wants to protect herself from how she feels about him. She finds out he’s engaged to someone else, and she pretends she doesn’t care but she does really. Emma still loves him but doesn’t want to admit it. She’s built up these emotional walls so the longer Neal’s around, the harder it is for Emma to keep those walls up. There is potential for some great scenes so to kill Neal off this season would just waste that.

3. Henry- Henry has only just got to know his father after Emma lied about him being dead. To then kill Neal off so soon after Henry has bonded with him would just be cruel.

4. Tamara- Tamara is probably going to be the big bad for at least the first half of season 3. They are not going to kill Neal off until he at least finds out how manipulative Tamara is and how she has been playing him since the moment they both met.

Will Neal survive beyond season 3? If he reunites with Rumple and reunites with Emma, what more is there for him to do? Those are the two big storylines for him. If he achieves both of those then it’ll be time to worry about his survival

Didn’t the writers say, when asked about the possibility of CaptainSwan that Hook would be “fun in Vegas” or something like that. I interpreted that to mean that, if Emma and Hook did hook up, it wouldn’t be a serious relationship but just a bit of fun.

They may not kill Neal this season but I believe they will definately kill him off next season. I stand by what I said, if they were planning on keeping Neal long term they would have bumped him up to series regular. Since they didn’t, it just shows that Neal is crucial to the show.

As for the ‘fun in vegas’ thing- That was ages ago! That was when the cast, writers, directors were trying to not give any hints that CS was going to happen. I wouldn’t take that too seriously. You’re looking at one little quote from an interview and ignoring the hundreds of other evidence that shows us CS is happening and, as they say, ‘canon’. What you should look at is, the chemistry, Paleyfest (that was huge for CS), as well as more recent interviews.

Sarah_TN– Don’t wory it will happen 😀 The directors said that they try to please everyone (including different ‘ships’). However in the end they are going to go with what they planned from the beginning – Emma/Hook (which they had actually planned since season 1) 😀

I got a couple of bones to pick with you.
Firstly, where has the show stated that Hook and Milah were true love? You tell me the specific scene or quote where it is stated. I’ll save you the time and let you know that you’re not going to find anything. They weren’t true love and therefore Hook is yet to find his true love. And you’ve contradicted yourself, you said that Milah was his true love and then you’ve said that he never really loved her..

As for Hook being step father – He isn’t. Were they ever married? No. And this was 300 years ago, I think it’s time for people to let this go. Even Adam said it’s time to let it go in the Paley Fest, it was 300 years ago.

As for ‘taking away the competition’ – I have no idea what you’re going on about. And Hook ‘nowhere to be seen’..? 😕 Have you watched the recent episode?

I’m sorry if I sound harsh, but all the points you have made aren’t valid.
And one last thing, was it extremely neccessary for you to say how much you don’t like Captain Swan and want Neal and Emma to happen instead on the Captain Swan thread? I’m sure Neal/Emma fans wouldn’t like it if I went on their thread and said how much CS is ‘endgame’ and Neal/Emma isn’t going to happen.
