I have been thinking a bunch about realm jumping as there seems to be so many holes. The writers need to make things a wee more concrete. For instance, the hat can travel go to worlds with magic, but not to worlds without it. Yet, we see Jefferson and Regina pull an apple from FTL pre broken curse. Does this suggest that one can travel from a land without magic to a land with magic and then back again? What are the exact rules of the hat? Also, since Jefferson was able to travel to Frankenstein’s world via Hat, I assume that Frankenstein’s world has magic? How many times can a bean be used? What are the rules of the beans, or the shoes, or the globe, etc..
Perhaps Hook used the bean to gain entry into Wonderland. Perhaps Hook was a realm jumper before the bean. Perhaps he had the bean, wanted to go to Neverland but ended up in Wonderland instead and that is how he learned about the compass and met the QOH.
It would appear that Cora is indeed the QOH. (I was hoping the QOH was a sister but oh well). The write up defines the Queen as vengeful. Since Cora was cast into Wonderland, I can see why she would be vengeful and hate even the sound of Regina’s name. I wonder if Cora has Hook kidnap Regina’s father. If Cora is the QOH, I think she overthrows the original Wonderland Queen and pretends to still be her. That would account for why she keeps herself hidden from others.

kalliopekiseesParticipantI forgot to mention that Detective Cooper visits the “Red Room” in Twin Peaks in one of his dreams. He learns a bunch of stuff whilst vising the room and communicates with a very dead Laura Palmer. Interestingly Henry also visits his red room through dreams and can also communicate with others. I wonder if the OUAT room is based on the Twin Peak’s one.
kalliopekiseesParticipantI watched Twin Peaks back in the day and am a huge David Lynch fan. I highly suggest watching some of his films and at the very least the Twin Peaks TV Series.
When I first heard them describe the “red room” I too couldn’t help but think of the Red Room in Twin Peaks. However, the Red Room in OUAT does not contain a talking backwards dwarf.
Here is a link to the Red Room scene Danielle spoke about in his podcast:
kalliopekiseesParticipantI agree with Phee. I don’t think these will be the stereotypical zombie.
Necromancy is a learned “magical” ability. I remember playing D&D back in the day and fighting many a zombie. Many fantasy books also contain zombies and necromancers. So in regards to them not being appropriate for the show, I disagree.
We have Frankenstein, werewolves, and zombies, all we need next is DRACULA!!! I am a huge vampire fanatic. (So is my family. In fact, my mom named me after the witch on Dark Shadows. She watched the show in her youth, loved Angelique, and alas named me after the character. I think poor Angelique loses a lot of herself in Tim Burton’s remake.)
kalliopekiseesParticipantI posted it this in another thread but here it is again.
I just read on line that Jennifer Morrison was quoted as saying about Neal
“He obviously is posed with the possibility of coming back to Storybrooke because of the pigeon who brought him the little note. So I think definitely there's going to have to be a decision made on his part as to whether or not he decides to follow up on what he started 10 years ago.”
Hmmm… Why did she use the words COMING BACK TO instead of COMING TO? Did she let it slip that he already had traveled there?

kalliopekiseesParticipantI kind of like it 😉
kalliopekiseesParticipantThanks Phee… You are always so thorough. 🙂
I need to research the Bae / Neal Theories. Something doesn’t add up right (in my mind).
Bae should be super old unless…
A) He went to Neverland. But in my mind August is a Lost Boy so if Bae was in Neverland he should have known August. So one of the two is out of sync.
B) The portal also included time travel
C) The curse was responsible for the age thing somehow? If Neal is Bae, and August showed Beal/Bae a picture of the dagger, August would have known that Neal was Bae. I then wonder were August is/was getting his information from. Others were convinced last season he was working with Bae. Now they believe the Blue Fairy. Sometimes I wonder if some want Bae to be Henry’s father a wee bit too much.
kalliopekiseesParticipantI think the writers play around a great deal on what society lables “Good” and “Bad.” I love that they make things a bit more true to life and depict what being human truly means. Black and white rarely exists, if ever.
