How about this?
EQ is the “Miller’s daughter.” The deal is made with Rumplestiltskin , she ends up married to Leopold., but she has had an affair with Stable Boy is is pregnant by him. She tries to break the deal with him, but because of Little Snow she is unable to and her baby boy is taken from her. The BABY is the one that she truly loved and Snow caused her to lose him.

OUAT
LOST
Buffy the Vampire Slayerand one that none of you listed (I might be showing my age on this one)
Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks was the first show I ever watched, re-watched and re-watched with a microscope. There were no DVR’s back then and VCR quality was questionable, but that didn’t stop us from analyzing and picking apart every word and frame. I HIGHLY recommend it to all of you!
kangaand2roosParticipantGlad to be here! I’m close to finishing podcast episode 9. I still have a lot to go, but I’m getting there! I’m realizing that I REALLY need to re-watch the TV episodes. I completely missed the hidden Minnies and Mickeys. My first and foremost obsession is Disney, so I should be ashamed of myself! 😳

Welcome to the forums, Stacy! How does your daughter enjoy the show? Sounds like ABC is succeeding in appealing to families.
Thanks. Annika loves the show and understands it remarkably well for a nine year old! She is a very smart kid and enjoys the complexities. She had a great theory about last night’s episode that turned out to be incorrect, but that I thought was pretty insightful for a 3rd grader. I think I’m allowed to mention what it is since the episode has aired, but just in case
**SPOILER ALERT**
Annika’s theory was that the queen (Regina) had MM’s (Snow White’s) finger prints from fairy tale land. As it turned out, the finger prints were just there because Regina stole MM’s box, but I think Annika’s theory was a better idea;-).
On the family friendly front, I have to say yes and no. Certainly it’s great for older kids, but I think it would be too scary/complex for most kids Annika’s age. She has always grasped things like this remarkably well. My 7 to son, Charlie, would likely be frightened by the show, and would not have the patience to pick through the complexities.
I have many podcasts to listen to to catch up (just finished with “The Price of Gold”) and I’ll pop in with my own ideas once I’m caught up.
Thanks for the welcomes!
Stacey
