I’m still a little annoyed we didn’t get to actually SEE Belle’s reconciliation with her father, but at least they acknowledged it. AND YAY FOR HIM SPEAKING!

He’s a total fashionista and there’s every reason to believe that both he and Regina dressed Belle quite a few times…it’s hard to say where “her” style begins in the show because in Dark Castle, he presumably provided whatever clothes she didn’t come with, and one of the first things he says to her in 201 is “I’m gonna find you something to wear,” when he goes into the back of the shop and she’s still in the asylum clothes. In 204, he admits that Belle was borrowing his sweater a few days later–and that he has nothing that’s hers (because she doesn’t yet have anything really). And then of course there’s the coat he automatically drapes over her in 311…etc etc. (There’s a reason I “keep” it.)
Meanwhile, when Rumple’s not dressing her…well, Regina put her in that rather sexy prisoner outfit in FTL (which we saw in 209 when Hook nearly killed her), and then was responsible for what she was in at the asylum as well as presumably whatever she found as “hers” when Regina woke her as Lacey. And then Rumple kind of took her into a weird custody so he was probably dressing Lacey (and possibly undressing, who knows).
Of course, Belle’s not the only one Rumple gives makeovers to (Cinderella, Charming, Hook & Emma, Regina…)–like I said, he’s a fashionista–but there’s something kind of sweet to how he cares for Belle when he does it that way. Or at least, I think so. Others might find it creepy :p
And none of this is to say that Belle does not have her own sense of style–someone with as independent a mind as she has definitely is expressing herself with her clothes. I bet she and Rumple have fascinating discussions about clothes when one of them isn’t in mortal peril.

We’re pretty happy if we get ten seconds of air time at all :p It’s usually enough to generate gallons of <del>smut</del> fanfic because Emilie & RC just put SO much in every moment.

Don’tStop: Don’t worry, you’re not the only one who can’t give up hope completely. I saw Neal as necessary to every current regular’s happy ending except Regina (and Will) and I still think that, somehow, he’ll be back. I know there’s no legit reason to believe it–MRJ isn’t on the show now, and despite all the little reminders that he’s not forgotten (they’ve referenced him in every episode so far this season–he’s almost gotten as much time as Belle even in absentia), they’re definitely giving him the “He’s Dead Dead Dead” treatment.
But if Rumple doesn’t at least look for a way to conquer death and save his son before the end of the series, I will be shocked and incredibly disappointed at how OOC he became.

I’m not sure Rumple comprehended light magic when he met Cora, Zelena, and Regina. My little Rumbelle heart wants to believe that he wasn’t inspired to try to use True Love with the curse until he met Belle, and that it was Belle’s influence that showed him he had to teach Emma to use love, not hate, to fuel her magic.

The pixie dust only said that Regina and Robin were soulmates. That doesn’t mean that they’ll have a happy-ever-after together. (Heck, A&E, higher authorities than pixie dust or Tink, said that CORA and Rumple were Soulmates. So (aside from ew ew ew) what does THAT mean for OQ?)
Rumple and Belle are better than soulmates. They have, or at least had for a moment, true love. The kind that breaks curses. The kind that constantly leads Rumple to David to beg for advice on how the heck you handle something so powerful and incomprehensible. The kind that, for a moment, was enough for Rumple to surrender, willingly, his dagger to another human being (giving it up to Zelena was not that willing–he had an impossible choice and he chose his son that time). (And yes, he took it back, but he DID give it to her for a short while. That, for him, took guts.)
If True Love can make things cross realms through a curse (Snow’s ring, the swan keychain necklace) and bring people together no matter how much stands between them (Snowing, Cinderella, Abigail, Philora…), then I’m hoping it can be strong enough to bring Belle & Rumple back together even if both are going to be crushed by the betrayals and secrets between them.
If only it was enough to keep certain people alive.

I’m somewhat intrigued by Rumple’s response to Belle’s “I can’t tell you. You wouldn’t understand.”
First, he challenges her assumption (it is rather an unfair one, whatever her secret is), but then he doesn’t pry. He lets her keep her secrets. (He’d be an utter hypocrite if he didn’t, of course, but it IS interesting.) And then he assumes, also unfairly, that if he refuses to go with her, she won’t do the stupid thing and face the Snow Queen.
He forgets for a moment (or she surprises him yet again–one of the few people who regularly DOES surprise him) just how stubborn and determined his little wife is.
