If Adam (or Eddy) says it’s canon, it is, but they probably delete lots of stuff that they decide is not canon later. The Rumple’s dad scene is a good example.

I dislike when Eddie opens his mouth in these interviews. He always makes me ragey.
We don’t want death. We want a crazy mixed up family learning about themselves and each other, pretty costumes, and awesome magic.

Like I said, if she had reason to. We don’t quite know what’s up with DQ yet–she’s idly threatened people but not really perturbed when they get away.

Oh, yes, he’s got LOTS of reasons for her not to chase after DQ. We know DQ has something he wants, and that she has some kind of history with him. But he’s also accurate about her being potentially dangerous–just last episode she made moves that plausibly threatened both Emma’s and Regina’s lives, and they didn’t win without Elsa’s help. Rumple knows a lot more about DQ than we do, so it’s quite plausible that she’d hurt Belle if she had reason to.

Also, wild wild wild guess here…but I’m betting Hook may be setting Belle & Rumple up here. He’s the only one who knows about the dagger, and yeah, he’s being good for Emma, but he’s still Hook–and he’ll still swap sides if something’s in it for him. If he finds out somehow about Belle’s past or finds a way to remind her of it, he’d probably suggest taking the Dark One along…

Well, if we’re worried about A&E making Rumbelle awful…look what they did to OQ. (And, for some of us, CS.) It…could happen. That’s why I’m afraid to be excited for this even though OMG BELLE.
However, yeah, we need context. There was some suggestion that Belle could have a dream sequence–and she’s wearing a scarf with daggers on it, for heaven’s sake. And the ax (which may make sense to fight an ice queen–how will you get in with just a dagger, which is Belle’s ordinary go-to weapon) was in her dream sequence in 204, too.
So this COULD be a dream.
But if it’s bad enough that she can’t confide in Rumple, whatever happened must be pretty bad. Or possibly telling is the thing that will put him or someone else in danger.
As for Rumple’s hesitancy–well, he’s always been reluctant to help out if there’s nothing in it for him, no matter who is asking. He is a bit of a greedy imp, even if ultimately he’s driven by love. Belle’s given him no justification here, just a “I’m going so help me or I’ll make you.” His reaction feels perfectly IC.
Belle’s may be, too, once we know what the secret is and why it’s so important to her.

The timeslot was the biggest issue, I think–I was getting a little burnout from so much Once every week, and then nothing during the hiatus when I would have craved it.
I think that losing their hatter also hurt the concept somewhat. Wonderland shone its brightest when Cora took over for a bit–having just a bit more overlap with the things that make Once its best (and I admit the creators don’t always seem to know what that is) would have helped.

I love OUAT because of things like:
Belle & Rumple doing stuff together.
Belle & Mulan or Belle & Ariel or Belle & Red being hilarious and perfect together. Belle & Anna is going to be beautiful.
Team Princess fighting ogres.
Charming & Rumple and Hook & Rumple and Charming & Hook and omg I want the three of them on a mission together sometime.
The bad boy band of Rumple, Jefferson, and Viktor.
Those little moments where it’s like, “Tinker Bell, meet Robin Hood…” I just can’t get enough of those.

Well, she probably gets it from Anna this episode, since last we saw it in flashbacks, it was in Anna’s possession.
Does this mean the house in Storybrooke is hers?
