I think she meant the fans as well as those characters, who at least SHOULD care (and who have expressed some grief, albeit limited considering what they lost), not fans of those characters.

However, I’m a big fan of Belle & Rumple, and I care desperately about Neal for Rumple’s sake. So it’s not wholly true that fans of those characters care nothing about Neal.

My guess: Ashley/Ella. Anastasia was very much hinted to be Ella’s stepsister (though it was never outright stated), and the fact that we had an Ashley cameo in the first ep of Wonderland only strengthens that guess.

Maybe he needs Ashley’s help to get back to/save Anastasia?

Could also be fun for Ashley, with her new baby (who should be about a year old now) to offer some advice to MM…whom she was already friends with back in the EF when they got married.

I wonder what it would take now for the show to regain the magic it used to have for us. I mean, a really good start would be bringing back Neal (which is NOT impossible at all at this point). But if they didn’t…what would it take?

Well, she truly loved Neal, even after everything that happened. So of course she never would have chosen Hook while Neal lived. But killing Neal to force it takes away some of her agency…she’s not freely choosing Hook over Neal, the way some CSers wanted, but rather accepting Hook’s affection because Neal’s out of the picture.

I’m glad that A&E have acknowledged that Emma’s relationship with Hook seemed to build too quickly to suit her nature in 3B, and that they’ll be addressing that by having her walls come up again a bit. That at least feels appropriate to who Emma is.

That would be such a good thing for Henry and Belle to talk about, especially if Belle finds out about the dagger and starts to lose some of her faith in Rumple.

I’d also like to see Belle get to examine Henry’s book.

And I -am- excited for the Frozen stuff, if a little terrified–I want them to do it right (which I won’t actually know what that means until I see it; it’s an emotional verisimilitude thing).

I guess I’m an anomaly of an SF shipper…I love the character of Hook and I see a lot of chemistry in CS, I just don’t think it’s as powerful as SF in any way. I think Hook with someone else would have been incredibly entertaining to watch. But by setting the ship up in opposition to SF, and then concluding SF they way they did, CS is a little painful to watch now.

At least I still have Rumbelle.
