Hi guys, lots of hugs for all of you!
I’ve been off having RL adventures and moving and stuff…but I shall return.

Well, we’ve already seen that magic, once done, is often easier to repeat–Zelena was the first ever to create a time travel spell that worked, but Emma could repeat it with the Black Fairy’s Wand simply by having been through the portal. They’ve actually discussed an evolution of the sleeping curse over time.
So creating the curse once was probably a LOT harder than recreating it later. Or using it the way Pan did. (They still cheated by letting Charming live…not that I want him gone or that I didn’t like the one heart business, but it was still a cheat.)

I still care, but I’ve been taking a bit of a break from Onceing to deal with some RL stuff. I’m dreading where I am on the timeline a bit, I’m moving soon, and work stuff related to that is amping up–plus some health stuff I have to deal with.
But…despite the pain, despite everything, I know I’ll be back.
And I’ll always love you guys.

Fascinating theory, but…
Elsa was trapped in that urn about 33 years before she’s released in Storybrooke. (28 years for the curse, plus Roland’s age). We don’t know how long Rumple had her before then, but it doesn’t synch up to when the little girl, who is around 4-6 years younger than Emma, was adopted. (Emma’s about 12 in that scene if my math memory is right.)
I will be very sad if Elsa sister isn’t present/at least a major plot point in S4.
But they will have to deal with the timeline issue of Elsa being trapped in Rumple’s collection for a longish time. At least 5 years not counting the curse (cuz time is, hehehehe, frozen).

I’m glad that MRJ is moving on to something good, even if it’s another nail in the coffin of the story I hoped to see.
The one thing that I have been hoping about this OOC-seeming twist is that it was, at least in part, OOC in the actor’s favor. I hate it when good chars leave a show but it’s easier to deal with if it’s because they’ve got Other Plans or aren’t happy with their current role. (Like, I’d love to have Jefferson around, but I can hardly begrudge the actor for choosing his awesome role in the Captain America movies over what Once can offer him.)
It’s some consolation to see that MRJ seems excited about what’s coming next for him.

I suspect Regina’s fling with Robin Hood wasn’t really on Hook’s radar. Also, as a denizen of the Enchanted Forest who escaped all the curses, he doesn’t have Storybrooke memories…he may have NO IDEA who Robin Hood and Marian are in our world’s versions, and possibly not in theirs either.

Theory: Rumple gave Belle a fake dagger to protect both of them, not as an alibi (though he HAS used it as one already).
He was insistent that she keep the fake. Why?
Because a, if it’s known that she has the dagger (by those who he knows know about the dagger), then anyone trying to get the dagger would expect to go through her first. That gives him time to make sure the real one is safe–and therefore HE is safe from being controlled again, which means SHE is safe(r) because he can protect her. b, if it’s known that she has the dagger, people are less likely to try to hurt her–she, in theory, can summon the Dark One to protect herself, so she’s got a scary weapon–even if it’s unloaded. Nobody else knows that, not even her.
This is still totally going to bite him in the end next season. But perhaps his motivations aren’t ALL terrible.

If Belle’s in it and nobody dies, I generally like it. If Belle’s a major character and nobody dies, it’s one of my faves.
If Belle’s not in it but Rumple is, it’s probably a decent ep.
If Belle and Rumple are both missing, but the Jolly Roger’s around, it’s tolerable. I like that ship.
If there’s no Rumbelle and no boat…it’s filler. Unless Neal’s in it.
