I know. I know. That’s a big big part of why this hurts so much. I’m just grasping for any tendril of hope I can find left. I’m sorry.

There is still Belle and there is still Rumple and I’m this deep in so I’m not out over this, but dang does it hurt. Neal really had come to represent hope for me in the show–and I just don’t understand their choice here narratively. But I needed Once to give me something good to look forward to right now, cuz I’m having to say so many goodbyes IRL…and it just crushed me with another instead.
There’s nothing wrong with being broken up about your favorite characters’ suffering. It just should come with some good payoff in the end…and I’m struggling to imagine how this could now.

Well, I do think it’s unlikely we’ll see him again this season–by setting the absorption into Rumple early on in the missing year, they made it easy to tell the story without MRJ.
If it were done WELL a flashback wouldn’t be a slap in the face, but it would still hurt like heck to watch.
I didn’t think it could get more painful than 311 and 211. Dangit.

Belle’s statement is TOTALLY canon for me. It was true love. There’s no reason for it not to have been. Especially now. It doesn’t get in the way of ANYTHING else they want to do for Emma, so why shouldn’t it be True Love? Besides, there was clearly destiny involved in their meeting, and Henry is as much a TL baby as Emma was.
I don’t care what those loonies say. Swanfire is confirmed TL for me.

Adam responded to me, while I was in tears started up again by reading the whole MRJ tweet sequence…(those made it more personal for me because I’m also being severed not by will from my work family)
Said he hopes I find what I’m looking for in the coming episodes in response to my asking if Neal’s death would make more sense in their context.

Well, if it’s straight up murders, Regina’s killed more people on screen (how do you count a village anyway?), but Rumple’s had a much longer time to do nasty things. Regina also seems to get more pleasure from killing people than Rumple does… And yes, Rumple’s better at covering his tracks, but Regina has also been known to use people to do her dirty work.
