So I’m shipping this harder now. And I’m seeing possible parallels to SwanFire and RegalHood–no, seriously–

So we’ve only seen three interactions with Tink & Hook so far, all brief. But they’ve all hinted at QUITE the history between them. Tink lost her wings when Regina was pretty newly married, I think, so maybe 10-15 years before the curse. That’s a lot of time Tink might have been in Neverland (and it’s possible she was there before, with her wings…hard to say!)

Was her first offense against Blue Hook related?
Did Hook, not yet ready to move beyond Milah and his revenge, do something Neal-like to Tink? Or even Regina-like, when Regina ran away from meeting Robin Hood?
Is it possible that they need another chance with each other?
Will Hook help Tink believe in herself? Will Tink see something more than a pirate in Hook?

I like the possibilities it presents–and the possible parallels to SF and RH suggest it could be powerful. Oh, and there could be plenty of parallels in this scenario to, say, Rumbelle…

I do want to know more about Tink/Hook’s history…but I am kinda shipping them a lot. And I think that knowing about their time in Neverland might add a lot of layers to that moment in Granny’s–yes, he was dealing with giving Neal a chance at Emma (something that makes me wonder–what WOULD he have done if Rumple had fought for Milah back in the day? killed a cripple? sent Milah back to her son?), but I suspect there’s much, much more. We’ve only had like three interactions between Hook and Tink, but they’ve all hinted at a long and interesting history.

And the promo pics suggest to me that they’ll have to work together to capture Pan’s shadow…and maybe reignite Tink’s belief in herself in the process. If Hook helps her to do that, because HE believes in her…that could be a powerful bonding between them.

And COULD parallel some SF development, too–if they liked each other but Hook screwed up because he wasn’t “ready” to move past Milah yet…ooh, could also parallel Regina/Robin Hood development in the future, too…

Well, unlike Greg, Blue has the advantage of being a supernatural and immortal* being–something she has in common with Rumple and Pan. I’m assuming that either the lost boys or some creature of Neverland got to Greg’s body, based on what Tink said, which means that Greg’s truly gone…but Blue has some hope. She was, after all, said to be “The original power,” so if anyone could survive it, it’s her.

I’m actually hoping she does, but we’ll see what they’re doing soon enough.

I think by killing Blue they DO open up an interesting path for Tink–to explain why Pan would kill her, to take over whatever threat Blue represented, to revive Blue, to explore HER backstory in Neverland, to maybe be a real interest for Hook?

Lots of possibilities, regardless of whether Blue comes back (though I’m personally rooting for a) backstory between Tink/Pan/Hook, b) Tink saving Blue and sewing her shadow back on, and c) Hook helping and winning Tink over while *cough* Emma and Neal patch things up.)

I love both of them, though obviously I favor Swanfire over other options. Hook’s an amazing character, handsome and funny and enjoyable to watch when he’s being good or evil–and played by a talented, adorable actor to boot. But loving one character doesn’t mean you have to hate his rival–and OMG I love Neal so, so much. I love him as Bae, I love him as Neal, I love when he embraces Rumple, I love how he smiles at Belle and hugs Henry and especially, especially how he grins at Emma.

And when these two kiss again it’s going to be better than a Snowing kiss and almost as good as a Rumbelle kiss.

The way Emma smiled at Neal when he tried to “make things easier” on her…she still thinks he’s adorable. And I think the real reason she stood him up was because she was worried about Henry and trying to work through THAT issue…otherwise she would eventually have gone on her own.

Henry Sr. was always listed as “valet” because in the first couple eps it was supposed to be a surprise that he was Regina’s father. So I guess they’re keeping that up since it’s also less confusing than calling him “Henry” when that’s Henry’s name. And he’s not technically Henry Sr. anyway–that’s just how we’ve handled the issue of two people with the same name.
