ParticipantSo rewatching season one. In 102, Gold remarks on Henry’s name, asking Regina how she picked it. He’s clearly just messing with her, since he can with his memories back, and of course names are his thing.
But in light of the fact that Henry Sr. was his rival for Cora’s affections, the whole thing takes on a different tone. Regina named his grandson after the man whom Cora chose over him. (He doesn’t know that it’s his grandson yet, but !!!)
Also, wow do he and Henry have a complicated relationship.

ParticipantThe new format of everything is really going to take some getting used to! But it is wonderful to be back.

ParticipantBut it WAS breaking in Skin Deep, until he got suspicious and angry and scared. And we’ve been told repeatedly that TLK can break any curse, including that one. The clearest limit we’ve seen on TLK is that it has to be mutual, True Love between the parties involved–it does not work if one party does not know/remember the other for some reason.

ParticipantI wanted to know where Moe and George wound up (I’m hoping we haven’t seen the last of either, honestly) after torturing their respective kids. I’d love to have seen how Hansel & Gretel were getting on with their father. And Cinderella and Abigail with their respective TLs (we know they’re living happily ever after, but waaaaah, wanna see). Also, Astrid/Nova…what’s she been up to? Does she miss Leroy?

ParticipantIf I don’t watch rabidly next season, it will be because I leave the country and can’t. Otherwise, I’ll be devouring every episode the second I can.

ParticipantYes. Flook is the best, though the floor’s been cheating on Hook with a lot of the other dudes. Even Rumple 🙁

ParticipantThey’ve said things that would suggest that, but there was a tweet recently insisting that it was our Victorian England. Thus the headache.
They’ve said that Wonderland’s Victorian England is another world, though, and Alice lives contemporaneously with the characters of Once.

ParticipantIt’s not the only line that could use retconning–the one about “she thought I was prettier than her” in the pilot, was it? Yeah.
But it does irk a lot with what they later gave us.

ParticipantWell, a single century would make more sense, cuz the Darlings, which A&E insist are Our World/time frame. But then you come up against “I’d be a couple hundred years old” and want to scream.

ParticipantHm. Just read an interview from this weekend’s events and apparently A&E said something along the lines of Hook thinking he should give up his revenge after “all these 100 years.” (It was the huff post one.)
I’m wondering if that’s “it’s been about a century” or “several hundred years.” Argh. The math aspect is going to kill me.
I’m definitely leaning toward the events of Neal’s early life being much more recent than I once assumed (based on the 300 years old figure).
