KebParticipant
Maybe he stole a bean from Tamara at some point.

KebParticipantThey have a whole season finale to reassure us that he will live. And they can still leave him separated to set up for season 3. I’d totally watch Rumbelle + Charmings chasing down Bae for a season or six.

KebParticipantAnd Tumblr provideth. It is, at least, the same necklace as in Belle’s dream.

KebParticipant(course, we’ve been debating about that stupid wand for a week or two now…so what can of worms have I opened?)

KebParticipantI won’t believe it. I can’t believe it. Emma and Henry and Rumple would all be utterly crushed if that happened. Besides, Rumple and Henry both ship Swanfire and clearly so does Swanfire…last ship that Canon Shipped was Snowing. So he has to survive.

KebParticipantWell, they do keep giving us details that flesh stuff out. Every bit of evidence helps. It’s one reason I like the spreadsheet format I’m using, because I can add stuff or move stuff pretty simply when new data comes out.
What makes things tricky for me is the spaces between stuff. They often give us direct statements about how long it’s been since a given event (especially between conjoining episodes), but there are vast plains of unexplored time even within Snow’s lifetime. If we assume that she’s roughly Emma’s age (28 when the curse hits, then), and around 12 when she meets Regina, then there is a very long time when they’re either living together in relative harmony or Snow is on the run in the forest. It hinges on when Leopold dies as to which is longer–Snow looks to be at least 18 at that point, but could be several years older. Either way, that’s a minimum of sixish years that Regina is learning magic, being Leopold’s queen, and dealing with Snow as a stepdaughter. And she doesn’t go full-on Evil Queen until the point she kills Leopold (never mind when she actually accepts the moniker, or the fact that she’s fantasizing about strangling Snow before the wedding and says she should never have saved her from the horse even before that), at least that we can tell from what’s been shown so far.
That’s actually what I think is the weakest bit in my timeline atm. I’d love a little more detail that would shore that part up.
(There’s also a conflict with Maleficent’s statement about Snow’s age–the same age you were when you got married–and the creators saying that Snow and Emma are about the same age–unless Young Regina is also in her late 20s and not her late teens as she seems to be portrayed.)

KebParticipantWell, if we assume that Regina starts impoverishing George after Belle arrives at the Dark Castle (and she couldn’t have started before, because she was Wilma until the point that Rumple mentions his promising maid to her), and Belle doesn’t stay at the castle for more than about 3 months (she says she’s had a couple months to look around in Skin Deep on the day that she’s sent to town), it’s tricky to squeeze in everything. It’s -possible- but tricky. Also, there is a LOT that has to happen between the ball and the wedding then. Like virtually EVERYTHING that happens between Snow and Charming before their wedding. And a war.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, just that it seems unlikely. I do think I should move the ball closer to when James dies, though, since it seems that Rumple would’ve acted quickly on info on the godmother’s location.
(and of course this is all assuming that it’s the same godmother, maid, etc, but there’s little reason to believe that they would mislead us so much.)

KebParticipantHaha–you should! But yes, that was what I thought you were referencing too. Which makes it doublebrill.

KebParticipantYeah, that sequence makes the most sense, even if it is a bit convoluted. But they’ve hinted that this particular fairy -really- ticked Rumple off at some point. Asking Robin to steal from him might qualify.

KebParticipantRumple apparently has quite a collection of wands, presumably some of which came from other fairies. The fact that all of them look different but this one does look identical is a bit of an issue. It also seems to be the one that Rumple favors using for other tasks–like when he takes the magic from the mine to seal off the well.
But I just can’t math out a way for him to have killed Ella’s godmother before Robin Hood stole the wand. It just doesn’t work with everything else that has to fall into place around those events. And it’s all interconnected.
