All they said in the interview was that they’d be sad to lose the shop and leave Steveson.

I think that’s a hint that they’re not really done with the town. Besides, even if the main cast leaves SB for good, there will ALWAYS be flashbacks.

The more they talk about it in the tweets and podcasts, the more it seems that you do have to be born with some innate magical ability to learn magic in FTL. It doesn’t seem to be something just anyone can learn–but who knows what proportion of FTL people have that “spark”?

Yeah, I know. Which is why I think that it has to be a parallel world, not ours. But to explore that I was willing to suggest that it could be as early as that–possibly–which still doesn’t account for a number of decades in Bae’s lifespan.

Well, Carlyle said once that Rumple was “about 300 years old.” They’ve cited similar numbers before but they haven’t been real precise. Bae said he’d be “a couple hundred years old” if he hadn’t gone to other lands. I’ve estimated that Rumple was in his mid-thirties when Bae was born, putting him at close to 50 when he became the Dark One. (The mid-thirties went with other evidence but it neatly put him close to the actor’s actual age.) Even so, 19th century London (even early Dickensian, which is…almost plausible) seems a little late timelinewise for Bae to pop through. But if it’s actually another world, then that problem is solved and it works okay when you consider Victor’s world (which also has similarities to particular places/times in ours, yet Victor is probably around the same age as, or slightly older than, Regina).

I know, I know. I’m just overthinking and over-feelsing things atm. I just want some happy Rumbelle and some happy Charmings and some happy Floof Family and all of them having at least one happy moment together as a big happy family. With a hug for Hook and Regina in there somewhere.

Or Nealfire will be dead. Or made a kid again. They always get an episode dedicated to their story when that happens.

And I really don’t want that to happen. Cuz it would devastate Emma, Henry, and Rumple. I’m not the kind of girl to pull “I’d stop watching if…” but it’s just too sad to think about what it would do to half the primary cast. Drama, fine, obstacles, fine, but…that would be too much, I think.
