No! I asked for debate! You don’t have to run away from it 🙂
But, in Skin Deep, Belle says when she asks about Bae’s clothing that she’s had a couple of months to look around. That means she wasn’t actually at the Dark Castle for more than about three months tops, because that’s the same day he lets her go/sends her to get straw.
The curtain scene, however, is actually pretty brief, and I can see it coming before. She might be crying in her dungeon at night in Lacey, but she’s getting work done and reading during the day–she’s not a constant sob-pile. She’s annoyed at him, but hey, he’s torturing someone at that point. She did try to run and help him when he was shot. So, dress issue aside, she might actually have giggled at him before Robin came–she did smile when he told her the child-skinning was just a quip, after all. I don’t think she would’ve asked why he spins so much after he told her he did his best thinking then, either. And the way that Rumple looked at her after the hug vs how he reacted when he caught her…I dunno, somehow I think the fall came first.
I also think the cloak is supposed to be one she came with, since she’s using it as a blanket in the dungeon in Lacey. Is it the same fabric? I thought the curtains were reddish.
Oh, and putting the fall before Lacey -might- account for some of the other changes in the hall, like the random couch. If, after she came, he put the couch there for her to rest/read on, and then that’s the same couch/bed that’s in her library (with the pillow on top, I noticed)…that would explain why it’s not there when she fetches a vase for the rose.
Honestly, I think the CGI department did make some “improvements” that mess with the continuity, but in general this show tends to pay attention to details where possible. Or maybe I’m just really good at making excuses for them.

KebParticipantWell, it can be cold pretty late in spring, too, depending on where you are–and they’re up in some mountains. I think Robin Hood showed up about a week into her stay there, since Rumple says she’s crying night after night. I looked back at the curtain scene and there’s nothing that forces it to happen after Robin Hood that I can find.
The rest of Skin Deep clearly happens a couple months later. I think the curtain scene could happen within the first week though.

KebParticipantSo I’ve decided to put the curtain scene in Skin Deep before Robin Hood shows up in my timeline. I know, I know, the dress. Somehow it makes more sense that she’d have more than one dress and the other be in the wash though, than that the curtains were nailed up after Robin Hood left. And while they do seem a little more friendly in the curtain scene than they do at the start of Lacey, it makes more sense that he’d tell her he does his best thinking then AFTER he’s already quipped about forgetting when he spins…so it fits.
Arguments otherwise?

Henry’s heart? Oh that would be a juicy twist.
Juicy but oh so dark. This show’s gone pretty dark before…but…sacrificing the kid’s heart? Yikes.

KebParticipantEh, I’m warming up to the idea of PirateQueen, but that’s cuz I think CaptainSwan isn’t going to sail for long. I’m just not convinced yet that Regina and Hook could accomplish anything but beautiful evilness together.

KebParticipantHook might help her if she says oh, yeah, everyone dies. Including Rumple. But you can live if you help me.
Poor Hook. Never can make a good alliance, can he? And I don’t know why I feel so sorry for him when I hate what he did to Belle and wish he would just make up with Rumple. Maybe it’s just that he’s so cute.

KebParticipantNo, he’s used contracts a few times. Cora got one, for example. But verbal contracts are still binding for him.

KebParticipantI don’t think Regina’s death or disappearance could be the trigger for the destruction of Storybrooke, though. Unless Regina snuck something in without Rumple’s knowledge (seems unlikely, since Belle’s about the only thing she’s ever been able to “beat” him with), he would know that hurting her would put himself and Belle in danger–and he would never have summoned a wraith on her.

KebParticipantI want to see David and Neal call out Rumple on his behavior. Neal being there would be heartbreaking of course, but it would be interesting to see poor Gold trying to explain that Lacey likes the badboys now…

KebParticipant20. Don’t poke the mayor. Or Mr. Gold. Just really bad ideas, that. PS, Mr. Gold and Regina, that applies to you two, too.
