KebParticipant
Well, I offered shortly after I first got here, but I never heard back. So I’ve been happily working on it in my spreadsheet.

KebParticipantI can kinda see Hook and Regina having a fling, but I suspect that they’ll have way, way too many trust issues to get very far. Neither likes people who double-cross them, and both have a strong propensity to double-cross others. And they’ve already done that to each other a couple of times–Hook sided with Cora against Regina after agreeing to help Regina, and Regina sided with Cora against Hook when he thought they were working together. The two of them are also very flirty people and the flirting between them has been very minimal in comparison to other people they’ve talked to…which is interesting.

KebParticipantIf I ever get Timeline Light sorted (it’s tricky working out what’s MAJOR and what’s not with this show), I might take the time to do the word thing. But I am strongly considering posting up my spreadsheet somewhere–at least the big timeline. It’s never, ever finished though. Perhaps I’ll make a googlesite later today for it.

KebParticipantI’ve been considering posting my timeline somewhere but I haven’t found a good format for it. I could just post up my spreadsheet, but I’ve got like twenty pages of OTHER data on that spreadsheet right now…

KebParticipantMy timeline is a spreadsheet. It’s currently got…1317 entries on it, though I didn’t do as thorough a job with some of the earlier episodes, so it will probably get longer even without adding new eps (which will happen).
I’m planning to do a “timeline light” at some point that isn’t as scene-by-scene and just covers the big stuff.
What I love most is when stuff in the FTL timeline intersects and you wind up with alternating episodes as the moments mesh together. It’s beautiful (even if it IS harder to map out and insert new lines etc).
Most of the not-shown stuff I’ve put in my timeline are things like characters’ births, mainly for reference. And with a few exceptions, those are pretty much guesses.

KebParticipantWell, Gold was under the curse when Henry came to town. So it makes sense that it was a surprise to him–plus he didn’t know Neal had a son, and certainly didn’t know that Emma had met Neal until that scene in Manhattan. He put together the clues pretty quickly when the truth was about to come out, but that’s because he’s been around for 300 years and has seen a lot and is a pretty smart guy.
Also, he told Henry that the ability to see the future is complicated and there are missing pieces. He seems to have a blind spot when it comes to the people closest to him, since nothing that’s happened with Belle seems to be something he could have predicted.

KebParticipantI suspect she has some control over it when she wants to, but it’s automatic the rest of the time. She said in Welcome to Storybrooke that everyone does what she wants. Her control is obviously not perfect, since David, for example, didn’t fall for her when she tried to seduce him as a last-ditch way of keeping him and MM apart–but Emma was in town by then, too, and that was weakening the curse.
But since it does seem to mostly flip the flaws/virtues of the individual, it can go on automatic pilot most of the time.

KebParticipantWell, Rumple did have a number of wands in his collection. It is interesting that these two look identical/the same and there could be an explanation–but it would have to involve the fairy getting the wand from Robin Hood at this point.

KebParticipantThe fact that Belle knew Dreamy and Snow met Grumpy early in her relationship with Charming (my timeline says approximately a month after meeting Charming is when she meets Grumpy–in 7:15 A.M., Red says it’s been a month when she brings supplies and news that Charming’s about to get married) means that Belle had to have been cast out before Snow met Charming (or at least simultaneously).
Even if we give her a little time to track down the Yaoguai and drown her sorrows at the tavern, Belle probably wasn’t free for more than a month before Regina abducted her. Regina wasn’t going to let a prize like that escape easily, and besides, her visit to Rumple in Skin Deep seems like the first one since Belle’s banishment from the Dark Castle. Since presumably Snow is not pregnant before she marries Charming (at least one of the times?) and certainly not yet when she meets Grumpy, there’s got to be at least 8 months of imprisonment for Belle at the barest minimum (Emma was born early but not -that- early).
Cinderella’s wedding was after Snow and Charming’s, I’m pretty sure, because they attended as a couple and a happy one at that–so it was at least after they had taken back the kingdoms. Her pregnancy is almost simultaneous with Snow’s, because she gives birth on the fifth day of Emma’s return to Storybrooke–which means that Alexandra would have been five days younger than Emma if not for the curse.
Rumple didn’t know where Ella’s fairy godmother was until he traded Charming to George for the info, so Cinderella’s ball has to happen after that event. That happened a little over a month before Snow met Grumpy, and Belle tells Rumple that she’s had a couple of months to look around when she asks him about Bae’s clothes just before he sends her for straw. The events of Lacey seem to be less than a week after her arrival at the Dark Castle.
I don’t think there’s any way it could be the same wand if the fairy godmother had possession of it until Rumple killed her.
And,honestly, three years before the curse makes sense for the events of Skin Deep, because so much happens in either that final year or those final years. I kind of want to do an analysis of Rumple’s behavior to look at how -he- changes post-Belle compared to pre-Belle in FTL which might offer some clues but I should be working on my master’s essay just now.

KebParticipantYeah, that moment of despair, when it didn’t matter anymore, when there wasn’t any point in trying to be good any longer…I hated it because it was heartbreaking and I want Rumple to be good SO MUCH, but the delicious parallels, the reality of those moments–it’s good writing and good acting.
And we’ve now seen Emma (back in Season 1 when she decided to resort to anything to defeat Regina and win), Snow, Regina, and Rumple, as well as a few side characters, all give up on trying to be good. Wonder if Charming ever will…or, depressingly, Henry?
