It is possible that Tamara went to get her things without telling Neal first, and so he didn’t have a chance to warn her about the pirate. I imagine a conversation something like this:
T: Oh, I went to your place and got my bags out of your storage closet.
N: Um. Was there a very angry pirate there?
T: What?
N: So, no, right? I dislike the negativity, too, though I think a certain amount of constructive criticism is warranted at times. Adam is indeed a champ for being willing to address any of it on Twitter.
But I think that the negativity is there in part BECAUSE the show is doing some amazing things. People wouldn’t complain at all if they weren’t getting attached to the characters and the world of Once. The writers, actors, and everyone else involved in making the show are making pure magic that is capable of eliciting strong feelings in the audience–capable of bringing people together, making people think, giving us both hope and despair. That’s an incredible feat. Think of all the entertainment that isn’t capable of that sort of magic. The negativity is, in fact, a sign of Once’s strengths.
Still, it’d be nice if we panicked less and held onto hope and faith like Adam keeps suggesting. Henry would remind us all that we’re in a fairly dark place right now, but that’s part of the story. And we’ve got each other to help us through the hiatus.

Adam’s tweets today suggested that the numbers that count indicate some 10 million people are watching regularly. That’s a lot of us! But I also don’t see where the fear for this show’s being cancelled randomly is coming from based on the numbers…the show’s doing well, the creators keep talking about future seasons, and I don’t think they’re going to pull a Firefly on us at this point.

I only know (some) Japanese, but the characters often mean the same/similar things in Chinese from whence they were taken. The blue neon characters outside the dragon’s place say “teacher” in Japanese (sensei), which can also be applied, as I understand it, to doctors. Can’t help more than that.

Yeah, my perception of it was that he was happy they’d found each other–that he wanted them together. He seemed so eager for it, and a little let down when Snow said they weren’t actually together. I’m now less convinced that August knew about Henry than I was before, but I’m pretty sure he ships Swanfire.
