KebParticipant
Ten/twelve years of motherhood can age a woman quickly. (Though my mother sometimes looks younger to me now than she did when I was a kid…maybe because her stresses are less?)

KebParticipantI do have a SF thing to say. Just, there is a bit of sadness in seeing the storyline that I hoped for back when Neal died play out around Hook. I like Hook but there’s still part of me wishing/hoping that the underworld will turn out as it would have if they’d gone there two seasons ago the way I wanted.
Just have been wanting to say that.
Back to the timeline I go.

KebParticipantI believe that fear is the biggest driver of Rumple’s character; almost every major decision he makes is colored by his fears. For most of his character arc, the fear is of losing/never reuniting with his son in various shades, though he’s always afraid to lose his life/power with the exception of the moment love completely won out and he killed Pan. His relationship with Belle, too, is entirely colored by fear–fear that she cannot love him the way she professes to, that she will leave him, that she will discover who he really is, that harm will come to her (and worse, because of him). We see it in his relationship with Henry (which I’d really love to see more of)–especially in the moments when he toys with the idea of killing Henry. That moment was driven entirely by fear.
But his biggest fear is that he is unworthy of love. Right after that is the fear that he will be weak and unable to protect the ones he loves or himself.

KebParticipantFlashbacks prior to Emma & Gang’s arrival in Camelot are now in place. Need sleep. Will start the Camelot flashbacks tomorrow.

KebParticipantWell, update on the timeline: As of tonight, I have recorded all the episodes from S5A on my spreadsheet. Over the next week or two I will be working on putting entries on the site timeline. If it breaks…well, it’s easy to do that and I’ll fix it asap.
As always, some decisions on the timeline are arbitrary, but if you have evidence that strongly counters something I’ve put on the timeline, please let me know. Also much thanks to everyone who shares theories, tweets, etc here–they help me a great deal.
And I still think the flashback in 511 is the most timeline-headache-inducing flashback yet. (I watched the flashbacks from 209 like a dozen times trying to make sense of it. It just doesn’t make sense. So I’ve decided that after Regina twirls the hat…then she tests Hook…THEN sends him to Wonderland over a day later. Logic being that the whole scene from the drink she offered after stopping him from killing Belle to twirling the hat was seamless, and he knew the information she’d given him during that interview when we open 511’s flashback. So perhaps she was just showing him the hat? The only other option is to put 511 in between where she stops his killing Belle and the interview later, but she’s in the same dress and still holding his hook for most of that sequence. Best I can do, folks.)

KebParticipantKinda sad that Belle won’t be involved in the transaction, or possibly even mentioned. It’s weird how easy it is for the writers to forget her sometimes.

KebParticipantYep. I like poetic things. I just think it’s not working with the plots around Regina and Zelena :/ Nor do the actresses act or look like women approaching 50 (they probably won’t when they ARE 50, because they are gorgeous women, but still)–40 is more reasonable as a ceiling for how the characters appear to be portrayed.
