Meh, I don’t see Hook’s reverting to wanting revenge on Rumple as SO OOC for him–we saw him, in reformed form, eagerly blackmailing Rumple for what he wanted in 4A, before Rumple took that as “permission” to get back at him–which was all BEFORE Rumple knew he needed Hook’s heart to use the hat.

They remain enemies with a long, bloody history. That bit I can deal with.

I just still cannot with the fact that over at least three days in Storybrooke, Hook had NO IDEA he has magic/DO powers. They are going to have to come up with quite the explanation for that. Other than his being extra angry about Emma being Not HIS Emma, we’ve seen NO CLUE, no foreshadowing that I can identify. Given how magic and the DO seem to work…it doesn’t make sense. Just wiping his memory wouldn’t stop RumpleVision and it wouldn’t stop his magic randomly going off when he was, say, EXTRA ANGRY. Cuz emotions.

Not into horror, so I’m kinda meh about this news. I still love Once, for all its flaws, but I tend to prefer the product to the maker when it comes to entertainment…for the most part.

I guess I tend to like the “filler” eps because I think A&E and their team do a better job with a shorter story than a longer arc. Less stuff to forget. I loved Merida and her dad and their relationship.

I was frustrated that their story had almost no connection with the main cast–even just bringing Belle in for a mention would have made my night.
