Lancelot was last seen alive for certain in about April 1982 (on my timeline–at any rate, before the public Charmings wedding, which was about 9 months before Emma’s birth in October 1983.

Time began moving in October 2011 in all the realms, as near as I can work out.

Cora faked being Lance almost 6 months later, in late February 2012–within days of the curse being broken. She tells them that she killed Lance “ages ago,” which, given that she only came back from Wonderland a few days before the Curse, suggests she encountered him somehow in the months before Emma broke the first Curse.

Fake-killing and then real-killing someone is a game these writers like to play, though, so the theory that Lance’s heart fuels the present curse (assuming it really WAS a curse) seems plausible. And in that case either Gwen or Arthur could have been guilty–we’ve seen how fond Arthur is of his men, and it has echoes of Pan & Felix in that case.

Hook’s as problematic as the hero as Regina is for me. I’m just gonna go on believing it must be Henry or Arthur for the time being.

Well, they said that they’d address Snow & Charming’s shared heart at some point. I wonder if that will come into this.

…they’re gonna try to convince me it’s Regina, but it should be Arthur, who is totally in town, or Henry, because Henry would be awesome. And conflicty for Emma.

Cora’s not exactly the most trustworthy person, and it’s only by her word that we believed him to be dead anyway.

I’d say the chances are 50/50 he’s alive.

Slightly disappointed that it looks like Belle’s part will be small, if she’s there at all. (Neal’s babysitter, sigh. I love her with baby Neal but…)

Healing magic is not too expensive, I think. It costs more for a fatal wound, like when Snow used/didn’t use the candle–Eva & Rumple couldn’t just be cured by simple magic; someone had to die if they were to live.

When Rumple cured Whale and Belle, none of those injuries were yet fatal–bad, but not fatal. Same with all the times Regina and Emma have used healing magic before–bad injuries perhaps, but with treatment, they could be cured. The arm on Whale probably cost more–but he could have survived losing an arm with proper treatment. Therefore not a life-cost.

…yes, I’m still trying to make the show make sense.

Arthur said they’d been waiting about a decade for the heroes to come save Merlin (plus 28 years since time was frozen for them, too, I assume). That means that the affair could have happened anywhere from 10-5 years ago in “living” time, and still allow Lance to help out the Charmings three years before the Curse (which we are now about 2 years past in show time, give or take a few months as it suits A&E).

Thing is…it didn’t work in the past for Emma and Hook either, and Emma’s DO voice suggested that even then she wasn’t willing to give up the power.

Does throw doubt on their love for each other though there’s no question that Killian’s met the test of “willing to sacrifice for the other” since he went and died for her in the alternate universe. (This is a test I came up with myself but so far it holds.)

If they go to the underworld, and this was something I was begging to see back when they promised to tell Mulan-Aurora-Phillip’s story and back when I still had hope for Neal’s return…

Well, they darn well better address those things. That is all.
