Mostly so we can mock them more when they make no sense.

That’s just it. I believe that Rumple will have to finally put her happiness first. And when he does that, he will get some measure of happiness (it will never be complete without Bae) in return–because I still believe that her happiness includes being chosen by him, to be WITH him and loved by him, and to love him in return.

But still needs to learn how to love and how to be loved, and he’s a long way from that.

For them to be together again, yes, Rumple IS going to have to be selfless and he IS going to have to be willing to let her go freely.

And that’s not going to be easy. Nor will it be easy for Belle to forgive him for betraying, using, and lying to her.

All that has to happen before I can be entirely happy with them together again as a couple. And I acknowledge that in a real world situation, I’d want Belle as far away as possible and our beloved imp locked away for life. But this is a story.

And I love them and I love them together all the same.

So this seemed the best place for this confession: Even as people are declaring the Rumbelle stuff in Enter the Dragon awful or OOC, I’m going…I loved it. And I think it’s physically impossible for me to stop loving Rumbelle at this point.
