I thought Regina’s was worst in fact the 1st couple of photos I thought it was someone else. Just leave the baby on the bed with no one around to catch it if he falls.
Something tells me that a big part of this episode is going to be Regina learning how to be a mom. She’s going to do things that might make the mothers out there go “oh dear. No, honey, you shouldn’t do that.”
Agree with you about this episode being about Regina learning to be a mother.

Now if Rumple’s mother was some sort of witch that would fix that, especially if it was a kind of magic that didn’t show up in every generation.
According to Jane Espenson, the “dark” magic comes from Henry’s environment. It “rubs” off in a sense. So a bit of that rub off on Neal who then co produced Henry (that sounds like Henry is a Broadway musical…) and then some of it came from Regina.
However I do also like the idea of Rumple’s mother maybe being a dark witch.
Me too about his mother being a dark witch. I kinda want Rumple to be ”magical” in a sense. Not magical from birth but attracts magic to him because of who his mother was.

What if Adam and Eddy put that in a future script and shows Rumple’s mother leaving him and his father behind.
I’m still hoping this doesn’t happen because I’m still hoping that his mother loved him very much til she died.

Because, I’m very intrigued by her now after seeing who his father is. I kinda hope his mother was magical and that is why he was always near magic. (Ex. Magic bean, dagger, and the seer.)
My theories for Rumple’s mother:
1) Wicked Witch of the West from Oz (For some reason I like this theory)
2) Blue Fairy
3) Dorothy
4) Other character

My newest hedacanon about Rumple’s mother is that she and Malcolm had a one night fling and somehow he got baby Rumple. Rumple is now his biggest burden and his biggest mistake.
Theory: Rumple’s mother had Rumple and left him at his father’s doorstep to take care of him.
I hope this doesn’t happen and that Rumple’s mother was loving towards him when he was a baby, but died shortly after giving birth to him.
My crack theory for Rumple’s mother is the Blue Fairy. (I want to see more Keegan and Robert scenes again). I hope she isn’t his mother, but I have been thinking it.
Another crack theory for Rumple’s mother is the Wicked Witch of the West from Oz. I thought this because of the way they describes Rumple’s father as ”coward” and I thought that his father could be the Cowardly Lion from Oz.
I really hope we see a back story of Rumple’s mother and if she knew the spinsters.

I want to see Chernabog too, and he is the big bad villain that everybody has to fight against. I’m hoping that the theory about him creating Rumple’s curse will come true, and the theory about him and the Blue Fairy.

Where exactly did she get it from? I thought most of the beans had gotten away from Blue Fairy. I’m thinking either the Blue Fairy gave the bean to that spinster or that spinster is a fairy in disguise. Perhaps Rumple was raised by fairies just as Princess Aurora was in the animated Disney version of “Sleeping Beauty.”
Yes I agree. I think she got the bean from the BF. But what does the BF stand to gain from it? Maybe she is in league with Malcolm?
Or the BF wanted Malcolm to become Peter Pan and this would lead up to Rumple becoming the dark one and making the curse that brought them to Storybrooke.
