1) Regina keeping the dark curse in the mauseleum. (Why would you keep it there Regina?)

I love Regina this season, but why would she keep it there. She should have destroyed it when they first came to Storybrooke.

This episode was great.

Favourite moments:

Jafar backstory- I actually felt sympathy for Jafar this episode.

Jafar trying to find out if Alice’s father was right or left handed- I just loved how the scene was played and Jafar’s little “thank you”

The little nod to Mr Gold- It made me smile.

The Knave- I want to see the Knave on the proper Once.

Least Favourite:

The ongoing Cyrus/Alice love story- They seem a bit of a rip off of Snowing. I’m just waiting for Alice or Cyrus to say “I will always find you”

Why would he cut out the current heir? He’s not born of the Sultana. Only “pure” children inherit, no matter if they are older or not.

I still think there might be more to the whole thing.

I do too because why would the Sultan react that strongly against Jafar unless there is more to the story. I hope we get to see that in the future.

Loved this episode.

Favorite moments: Alice made a wish to save her father. The interaction between Jafar and the Sultan.

Least favorite moment: The sultan trying to drown Jafar.

I wonder why the Sultan deny Jafar as his son.

I wonder if there is more to the story between Jafar’s parents that his mother didn’t tell him.

But what you may find surprising is who almost adopted wee Henry instead.

I’m hoping that Gold almost adopted Henry because that has been my headcanon. Gold finds Henry and feels a ”connection” to this baby, but somebody talks him out of adopting Henry and gives the baby to Regina.

That’s not the impression I got. In the scene where Alice storms outside and her father follows, she says, “She doesn’t make you truly happy. Not like Mother.” And also, “It took you years to get over Mother.” Sounds to me like Alice knew her mother and there was a time when she and her parents were a happy little family. She does say that her father was sad for her whole childhood, so I think they lost her mother when Alice was quite young, but still old enough to be able to remember her.

I’ll be surprised if there isn’t a WL related twist to her mother and/or what happened to her. And I think her father knows about it, which is why it stresses him out that Alice has been to WL now too.

I’m hoping that her dad knows about magic and what happened to Alice’s mother and that is why he is over-protective of her. Maybe he is pretended not to believe in Wonderland, when he really does because of his wife.
